    Disappointed in Messicks

Messick's has always treated us pretty well, and I always get a kick out of how cheap people are when buying stuff for a machine that they dumped thousands into purchasing without batting an eye.

MX 5800 trailering short distance with Tundra

I don't think it would take you an hour but I bet it would take a good 40~45 minutes. Max speed is 16mph but you're not going to be traveling wide open all the way and if you have any inclines it will slow the machine way down.

I had the same problem with the MX5800 so I just bent the bracket under the seat towards the lever and it works correctly now too.

MX 5800 trailering short distance with Tundra

I run our MX5800 between properties all the time it is real slow compared to our other tractors but it will get you there. Make sure you keep it in 2WD while traveling on the road. ;)

    Coleman vs Messick's

I've used both and had good luck with both but I generally buy from Messick's because I can pickup my stuff they are only a few minutes from me.

Adding a hydraulic top link, what size hose?

We ordered it through whole goods I'll try to see if I still have the part numbers. I think it came as a top and tilt kit but we only use the top link we fabricated the tilt cylinder on a rear blade to make it angle. The top cylinder didn't need any type of restriction to work correctly.:)
