    Need Advice

My son's 7060 has been a real nice tractor, I just did a 2000hr service on it and it's holding up real nice although 2k isn't a lot of hours on a machine like that. It might be worth while to fix up the JDs too if they're not too far gone they hold their value and usually hold up pretty well...

Is Air ride seat worth $915 on MX6000

I think it depends on how much you weigh I'm over 250lbs and had a nice suspension seat upgrade on my MX5800 but wish I would have installed a air ride seat because the suspension seat even adjusted all the way up would still bottom out from time to time. The air ride seat handles heavy people...

    Thinking about an upgrade

Your B7200 looks like it's in good condition if it is you should be able to get a good price for it.

    MX5400 or MX6000?

One thing the MX did good was run a 20kw generator which came in handy when the power was out at our house.

    Root rake grapple

I would wait I'm not positive but I think the scg0554 was designed for the BX series machines and will probably be a little light duty for your application.

    MX5400 or MX6000?

Also something to keep in mind is the M comes with a rear remote standard and it has a power lift setting on the loader which give it a lot more lift capacity than the MX series tractors.

    MX5400 or MX6000?

The MX series HST is really a nice feature. If you decide to get one you'll like it.

    MX5400 or MX6000?

I understand what the question was and was just pointing out the M5660 is the same price as the MX6000 so you get more bang for the buck nothing more. :)

    MX5400 or MX6000?

I liked the MX we had it was just to light for us but what bugged me was that I should have spent more time researching the different models and their cost it pissed me off when I realized I could have gotten a entry level M series for the same price. The thing I liked the best about the MX was...

    Kubota Tier V DPF engines

I wonder if they will be able to upgrade the tier IV motors

    MX5400 or MX6000?

I guess I should have spelled out my reply a little better - You can get a M5660SUHD for almost the exact same price as the MX series tractors and it's head and shoulders above them in every way as far as loader lifting capacity stability and other standard features the MX doesn't come with...

    MX5400 or MX6000?

I'd keep what you have for all the reasons "Motion" mentioned. I don't think the jump up into the 5400-6000 series tractors would be much of an advantage if any. You would really need to jump into a M series to gain any real advantage over your current machine.
