    Lawn Vac for BX

Thanks folks. Found a used one on CL for $1000. Will keep looking around to see if I can get lucky getting a less expensive used one. I looked at their bundle specials. $3200. Way more than I want to spend. A blower won’t work so need a vacuum.

    Lawn Vac for BX

Anyone who has a BX series tractor can recommend a good lawn vacuum? Never owned one before so am new with this implement. Not sure if toe behind or 3 point is better. Looked at a few on google search. Tow behind looks alright but don't know if that hose would attach to my mower deck. Appreciate...

    Extra Security Protection

Get a trail cam. Not that expensive. Mine runs a year on 1 set of C batteries. Still add other protection if possible.

Cut Height and Greasing on a BX.

Grease when I removed the deck for winter. I’ll grease it middle of the season and end of season when I pull it off stays on when I grease middle of the season. Cut mine a 3 setting.

    Snow Removal.

It possibly could if the rear axle can be locked. BUT, if you get allot of snow, pretty sure you will have issues. 4 wheel drive tractor would be best. I went through this too and decided a Kubota 1880 would work for me. Wanted a loader too and mower deck. May have been a bit of money but works...

    BX23S Loader Hydraulic Shutter

Your at the proper RPM’s? Have you tried going higher RPM’s to see if there is a difference? Did you check all your hydraulic connections to insure they are all seated properly?

Kubota BX 1880 mower PTO locking cap.

maybe spray some WD in it. Or, bang it like others said. Mine was hard to keep open to couple it. Sure is a snug place to get to.

    Help me out here...

I bought my 1880 to shovel. Screw hand shoveling. Use your tractor to unload before taking it to the dealer. By the way, unless you’re planning on leaving it attached, may go get it and put it on yourself. Got to learn sooner or later. I put mine back on for the 1st time a couple weeks ago. Not...

Giving Up on Buying a New Kubota

Besides engine and PTO horse power, everything else is equal between the two tractors. Some days I kind of wished for more HP but in the end, I’m happy with my 1880.

    Who would have thought??

Friend of mine in high school had a father going through cancer treatments. Was getting skinnier by the day. No appetite. My friend and his brother decided to introduce him to a joint to see if that helped. This is late 70’s before medical marijuana was approved. He tried it. Got his appetite...

    Bent loader on BX

Ouch. That sucks. Any chance you took a few pictures. Have been careful to pick up loads evenly so I don’t do this to my 1880. Did you happen to pick up a little off on one side?

The government wants you so stoned you don’t realize the crap they are doing until it’s to late. Was a mistake to legalize pot and any form of drugs! Smoked that crap in high school. Now they super charge this crap, then wonder why things are getting worse.

    Buying first Kubota (used)

Like others have said, read the manual, twice. Get ready for sticker shock on the oil and filters but its worth every penny. The looks similar to my BX1880 but think its an earlier model from looking at the front. The loader will get you in more trouble than just operating the tractor. If you...
