It will fit the B2601 fine, I have used one on mine which was recommended by my dealer. The only trouble you may run in to is if you have a warranty issue since LP recommends it for the BX series. There are members on here who run the 54 on larger tractors like a LX2610.

If you have to go clamp on may I suggest you go with a style that I posted a pic of above. The cross bar helps with keeping the forks parallel and can be adjusted or taken off completely if need be. Then the posts accept 2x4s where you could make a brush guard if needed. It also come with cut...

I did mine just before the 50 hour mark. Doing the service early certainly wont hurt anything other than your wallet. You ever think about doing it yourself and saving some cash? There are plenty of videos on youtube that shows you the steps.

In my neck of the woods everything is $800-$1000 plus if you can find them. LP went from $700 to $1100 and not available till either June or Nov. I just purchased a set from EA which ran me just over $1000 delivered to my door. 3 month wait though.

Hi Dan, the hose end swivel is the one that was loose and keeps on backing out. I saw the fluid pouring only out of the hose end. The port adapter was tight and has stayed that way.

Have you had any other issues since?
