    Pointless Upgrade?

Like you an L would be tight working around the house. Out where I have cleared for the tree/firewood work it would not be a problem. An MX on the other hand would not allow me to do really anything around the house I think with it being so tight in certain spots.

Very true. Guess I just got spoiled when I was lucky enough to get 0% for 84.

    Pointless Upgrade?

Thank you for the replies. I agree having forks which flipped up would be nice for storage purposes, and if they fit most standard pallets I wouldn't be too concerned if they weren't adjustable since my front forks are. Would be nice to have a carryall ready which I could hook up to the rear...

Thank you. I was thinking of trying something like this in the meantime. https://www.agrisupply.com/pallet-forks/p/72511/

    Pointless Upgrade?

Good points hodge. A reason for my thinking I may need to upgrade was due to how much excessive stress I may have been putting on the front axles (thats why I wanted to ask here first). If the rear forks would alleviate that stress that may be better for the short term (or long term) or as long...

I do have front forks already. Is a reverse plate something I would need to fab up or can be purchased and attached to existing forks? I don't have access to a welder.

Can I ask which 3 point forks you have? Also, how easy are they to use on uneven terrain?

    Pointless Upgrade?

Good idea! Also laughed my a$$ off over the SOL comment. I just need to lift the totes high enough to move them from the splitting location to my storage area.

    Pointless Upgrade?

Very good points, thank you. I really have no clue what a full tote weighs loaded with the green oak. Only know what i could lift by trial and error of loading until the B didn't want to move it anymore. I will have to do some math and figure out around what the totes weigh full.

    Pointless Upgrade?

Yes my snow removal isn't substantial and thank you for the info on the rear mowers. I guess the only aspect I see where the B is lacking would be in moving full cages. I also wonder what setup would more easily lift full cages without going too big. I have both 275G and 330G. My B can move a...

    Lest we forget

I was in my Freshman year at SCSU in New Haven CT about to go to class and saw the first plan hit while it was being reported on the news. Being a dumb kid I thought it couldnt have been real and started walking to class to a deserted campus. Classes were canceled and people were freaking. Once...

    Pointless Upgrade?

Thanks for your reply PaulL. My tires are not filled but when doing loader work I have the backhoe on as rear ballast. While picking up and moving the cages the ballast of the BH kept me planted but maybe thats not enough? I laughed hard at the letter of rec for the wife! I currently have a...

    Pointless Upgrade?

Asking for a little advice and to either be talked off a ledge or over one. Recently I have been wondering if I should upgrade to a L2501. Working with my B2601 has been great but when moving around IBC cages of green oak it has had me wondering if I should have gone a little bigger. The tractor...

    Backhoe / Snowblower dolly

Not my video so cant take credit for that. The closer you get in height the less distance it needs to travel. I can remove and reattach without the assistance of the stabilizers and still keep the pins in so it stays put.

    Backhoe / Snowblower dolly

I have the same setup as you and just built one for my BH. It makes removing and attaching your BH a breeze. I watched a few youtube videos and built one similar to the link I provided. I modified based on my setup and used scrap 2x4s, 2x6s, and 4x4s I had laying around.
