    L1500 Will not start

Hey there Roger, welcome to the site! Thank you for posting. When you backed the nuts off to bleed the lines, did you see any fuel spurting out while cranking it over? Did you remember to loosen and bleed all of the lines?

    removing lower pulley B7000

Finch, I can understand your frustration. I'm sorry if you feel lead astray. In your post earlier in March you did come on and ask for some solutions regarding your engine problems, and we did give you some suggestions as to the cause, one of which was frost plugs as they do pop out from time to...

    B 7200 Clutch ??

Very impressive progress! This thread has become your "rebuild journal". That Kubota hasn't received this much love since it left the factory! :D I enjoy the updates on the progress, nicely done! I tell Vic to stop in from the shop and to make sure to take a look at your latest and chime in.

How to remove the cutting height control dial

Hey there again - Vic is your best bet for an answer on this one. He's out in the shop during the day (earning his keep) but he typically shows up in the evenings to answer questions and give advice. Hang in there! :D

used B6200 .... good deal? maybe?

Brand new FELs run anywhere from $2000-$4000 depending on where you shop. Also, depending on what you pay your control valve, hoses, etc. may/may not be included. We looked at fitting a loader on a B6100 in another thread which you can read about here...

used B6200 .... good deal? maybe?

Nice reply Dusty-t, If you are just joining us, Dusty-t's in the middle of his own teardown and rebuild on his B7200, the bigger brother to the B6200. Check it out here: http://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100

used B6200 .... good deal? maybe?

Hey Ryan, Thanks for signing up to the site! Welcome aboard! I think $3K US is a good price for that B6200, especially considering that you are getting the mid-mount deck and a snowblower as part of the deal too. Even though it fires up for you right away, do factor in spending a small bit of...

    Kubota B7001 serial question

That is an interesting find, I agree! Also, picking all of that up for $1850 is a good find too! For $1800 or so here in Canada, you get... well.... a pile of scrap! Nothing that resembles a tractor or mower, or both! Nice find. Sounds like you got a good deal! Repainting is a great idea. Have...

    BX 22 battery replacement

Update - just spoke to Vic - he's got an Everready Enegizer battery in there. From WalMart for about $89. Buy a battery from WalMart and just make sure you use that battery hold down and you're set! Good call too Michael!

    BX 22 battery replacement

Hey Tom, You are right to be looking for a way to reduce vibration to the battery. Inside of a battery there are many parallel aligned plates - the bumping up and down of normal equipment usage can cause these plates to smash together. When they disintegrate that's when you lose capacity in...

Let's help Bart out - read and weigh in...

I agree with Vic on this one - I think you'll need a bit more "tractor" out of each. Your specs on those tractors are correct - 27 and 25hp respectively, but for the size of your operation and the soil conditions you describe, I think you cannot go wrong with more hp in this case. 500 acres is...
