Down loading the WSM (work shop manual) is always a good idea. Just google your model, and get it from the kubota site.

I agree about just buying another machine. Easier, plus you will find lots of uses for both machines at the same time on the same job.

Lower air pressure will make it ride a lot better. My rears are at 5psi, and still only have a slight bulge with my heaviest implements.

Another option would be smaller wheels on the L4802. I have seen 50-60 hp tractors on small fat turf wheels for mowing. It would be a speciality thing so might take some effort to find. This would give the power and low center of gravity you are after.
