Something a little closer to Orange.

The hood has a couple of cuts and doesn't latch completely due to the power steering but other than that the tin and paint look nice. I don't see any over spray on parts but can't say 100% certain if it's original or not. In my area you still see h's or m's running wagons around or pto's. It...

Thank you. With my injuries I'm looking at a less demanding job. A few times I thought of of some sort of media position of either, catalogs, website/social media, parts catalogs, or even an equipment sales person where I can utilize my photography skills. Unfortunately there's really nothing...

    Orange on Orange.

Sorry to hear all of that. I'm disappointed but my wildlife plots did well. I still have corn stalk bundles and mini bales if I wanted to sell something. I feel fortunate that we had a garden because the last 2 years we didn't.

As some of you know I use a 1951 John Deere B on my hobby farm....... not as much, now that the Kubota arrived though. It's a very nice looking and well maintained tractor but lately it's been giving me grief to the point of I'm flipping a coin of " will it fire up" or concerned where it's...

Maybe it's just me.....new member posts asking questions

At work the new hires ask me why I don't always use the left brake on the dump truck....... At one time we all didn't know how to use a spoon or toilet.

Maybe it's just me.....new member posts asking questions

I'm pretty mechanical inclined but see this often when I'm being a Google or YouTube mechanic. Someone joins a forum and their 1st post is a question....which the answer is probably on the forum if it was searched with in 5 minutes but the person wants a quick fast answer. What makes me roll my...

    Orange on Orange.

Tonight the family and I picked our garden. Between the heat, then extreme rain and myself not being fully capable of spraying with my injuries . The end result wasn't the greatest. Most years we get a full flat rack. This year just a loader bucket full. Oh well. Good family time and good photo op.

Does a 3PH-Mounted Tank (no sprayer) Exist?

I have 2. 1 for the water tank and 1 I made a mini haywagon to haul the little family members around during get together. Rated at 1500lbs. It's a pretty versatile wagon and many options to build off from. I bought a farm tuff mini running gear. It too was rated for 1500 lbs. I. Beleive it...

Does a 3PH-Mounted Tank (no sprayer) Exist?

My wife works at a nursery and is always bringing home " seconds" one night she came home with 30 6ft trees..... I made a portable water wagon with a spray gun, and a hose to full up a bucket to water grass seed or trees. I have a pump on it that hooks up to the atv battery but it is...

    Leaving Tractor at other property

I 2nd the trail cam. My family has farm land on a 2 mile dead end road that turns into a driveway and an abandoned farm stead. We have a gate across the driveway. It's been hit, and the chain has been cut for hang out spots and parties. We have equipment out in the open during the busy times...

Damaged SSQA plate, good lesson learned

Funny thing is I just saw that video the other day. Stereotypical hobby farm/horse person newbie trying to make money off youtube and no belonging on equipment. Where I work we have hydraulic quick attach buckets and forks for the skid loaders. I've seen numerous close calls of buckets ending...

    Antigel additive.

There's a kwik trip just up the road from me and a cenex about 10 minutes away. Where I work we use both stations but for my personal preference I seem to get better start ups and preference with cenex. Growing up we had a heat houser on some tractors. It covered the block keeping it warm and...

    Tilt Wheel Fuction Not Working.

Wow I guess I'll be keeping an eye open for an email from my dealer. How long have you had your Kubota? Funny and sad they figured out the issue and concerned. There must be a handful of complaints to issue a recall. An hour though to change out the spring? Either way glad you're getting...

    Antigel additive.

2 of my neighbors did that. One stays there during winter, the other sold his farm and called it his forever home. The older I get the more that crosses my mind. Unfortunately humility affects my leg hardware..........winter time the leg feels the best...........my mind and the rest of the body...

    Antigel additive.

Being July and in the 90's I don't want to think about this but I was curious on 2 things. 1) for the cold climate guys what antigel additive do you use? In my area it can be -40 with the windchill. Growing up and where I work we use winter blend diesel but still added diesel 911 additive. 2)...

    algae in fuel

The farm I worked on in high school had a 500 gal diesel tank with bio soy diesel in it. One day a tractor kept going into limp mode until we opened up the petcock on the fuel filter and let water out. Talking to the mechanic he said it was the sludge/algae build up from old fuel sitting. We...

    Tractor operating for new owner

Congrats on the buy. I've had the same model for 4 months now......no regrets other than not getting it sooner. All very good points so far. The tractor is not a race car or a bull dozer. You see/read/hear a lot of horror stories of " this tractor is a piece of junk" after someone miss used...
