Pros and cons to Kubota 0 turn mowers

I bought a Z421 with a 60" deck this summer and have had no issues at all. It runs and cuts real nice. I like the ease of taking the spindle covers off for cleaning after each mow. Changing oil is easy, the filter is in a good spot. Additionally the battery is easy to get to for when I hook up...

    Ballast for LX3310

I put 2.5" Bora spacers on my lx2610 and that puts the rear tires just within the width of the bucket. I can definitely feel the difference in stability.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Getting ready for winter. Tucked away the summer stuff and have the snow blower handy to install.

Good Works Tractor Co. and their latest Quick Hitch

I just took this shot of my speeco. Looks to be about a 3/8" gap. I made sure to have my chipper lifted so it was in the bottom of the cradle.

    Leaf Time

I did the same thing yesterday except I used my zero turn on them. After that I put it away for the winter.

Lx2610 jumps out of med range.

Every now and then my lx2610 jumps out of medium range when travelling. It happens mostly when I'm not putting a hard strain on the transmission. I've got about 345 hours on it and has done this for a while now. Not sure if there is an adjustment that I can make.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Tractor was brought back with the 3rd function and grapple from the dealer late this afternoon. I had to give it a whirl. There is definitely a learning curve especially if you are trying to not tear up the ground under your brush pile. Fortunatly I have lots to practice on.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

While my dealer has the lx to add a 3rd function kit I added a vise to my carryall to help with chain sharpening or anything else when I'm out and about.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Cut 6 birch trees that were either bent over from last winter or were going to probably go this winter. Left the brush piles for when I get the grapple in a few weeks. I have probably another dozen trees to go. Next week is supposed to be on the mid 60s so it will be a real nice week for outdoor...

Thanks for the inputs. I ordered the kubota 3rd function kit and scg0660 today. It should be installed in about 2 weeks.

3rd function kit and grapple for lx2610

I'm starting to research 3rd function and grapple for my lx2610 and have questions for the group. I'm going to start with either Kubota or Landpride 3rd function kits being installed by my dealer and am going to look at the SCG06 series grapples. My main use for the grapple will be for cleaning...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Truer words have never been spoken. Just before my daughter got married I told her then fiancee that those were the only two words he needed to know🤣

    Snowblower

I usually run mine just about full throttle in the snow. When it is heavy and wet I go slower and take less of a bite of snow. When it is too wet and really clogs the blower I use the rear blade.

    Rainy Day Fun

Sorta in the same boat. My wife has first refusal on anything I make (her rules). Our house is only 28' x40' so not much room for "stuff". Funny how not much of what I turn makes it to my daughter's house next door.

    Rainy Day Fun

I just really started "playing" with wood in the past 2 years when I retired. I used to only have to look at wood and it would split LOL. Bowls are my favorite , but I've turned some bud vases from some of the branches from trimming trees around the property. My wife never seems to run out of...

    New Zero turn

I recently bought a Z421 with the 60" deck. I really like the way it cuts and it has tons of power. I did buy a track seat for it for $188 on Amazon which made a big difference in the ride. What used to take 3 hours ot cut now takes me just shy of 2 hours and the fuel economy is much better. So...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Chipped what was in the pile and am ready to start another one. Sure was glad for the ac in the cab. When it's 90 and humid it makes for a nice place to take a break.
