    Prep For Planting Grass

We are quickly approaching the best time to plant grass and I need some advice. I say plant grass rather than putting in a lawn because as much as I'd love a nice lawn, my priorities are to reduce or eliminate erosion, reduce or eliminate areas of exposed dirt and mud and create a green yard...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I used my big orange wheelbarrow over the weekend to move 18 retaining wall blocks at 48 lbs each and a tandem axel trailer of rock working on our fire pit area and walkway to it.

    Green Turning Orange

I'll add my appreciation for the L3560 LE. I don't have the backhoe as I couldn't cost justify it. If I need to do any backhoe work, I'll just rent a mini ex. Good luck on your deciding and your purchase. Either machine should work well.

L4060HSTC Seat with good lumber support.

If you do a search on here on the "air ride" seat, you should find several "hits". As I recall most reviews are positive. You might be able to PM some of the folks who have the air ride seat and have posted about it and ask specific questions. I have the regular spring suspension seat on my...

    LA535 loader availability

We feel your pain. Many of us on here who've purchased tractors and/or implements in the past 3 years have experienced similar waits for various parts / products. As someone else said, "welcome to the new normal". Fortunately I do think things are getting better and product availability has...

    Dealer negotiations

Excellent. I think it worked out well for you and you have the tractor, which is the most important part.

    Buying L3560HSTC-LE

Seems a bit high to me. I have 3560 LE ROPs, not cab, and love it. I'd definitely recommend the 805 FEL. If you need it now and it's in stock that's probably worth paying a bit more. If it's not in stock or you can wait a bit, you might save some money shopping around at other dealers.

    Dealer negotiations

Good luck with your shopping. I think dealers are a bit more open to some discounts today with supply expanding a bit, as opposed to a year or two ago. That said, I'd be surprised if you could get much more than 10% off MSRP, but it doesn't hurt to try. Let us know how it goes.

    Kubota Financing is insane

Tightening credit requirements allows Kubota to still get you interested in a new Kubota with the advertised deals but only finance the least risky customers. With rising rates, unfortunately slow pays and defaults are increasing in the finance world so it's not surprising.

    UTV towing capacity?

I think most of the UTV's on your list will do the job. We have a 2020 Polaris Ranger 1000 Premium and it works very well on our very hilly property. It too is a workhorse, not a trail riding toy. The dump bed with hydraulic strut is well balanced and is easy to operate. It will tow 2500 lbs...

Maybe I should have just ordered

I went through this same thing on my tractor a year and a half ago. I completed the purchase in July but didn't take delivery because we were waiting on rear remotes and 3rd function kit. The rear remotes came in pretty quick, about 6 weeks, but third function was delayed. The tractor and...

    Hydraulic Top Link for L3560

FitRite Hydraulics - pricey but well worth it. Biggest drawback is time, probable at least 30 weeks out, but the demand and wait time tells you how good they are.

    Kubota Pricing

    Kubota Pricing

I'm glad I purchased my tractor and current implements when I did back in July 2021 with 0% APR for 84 months. Our income hasn't gone up much since then but the costs of purchase and financing sure have. I don't think we'd be able to afford the tractor and implements today at current prices...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Used the FEL bucket with bolt-on chain hooks to lift the crate with the new cast iron clawfoot bathtub for our barndominium out of the trailer and onto a dolly so we could get it inside. 350 lbs is a lot for two or three guys to lift and move around, but the tractor picks it up and sets it down...

    Top -n- tilt cylinder options

I'll chime in and second other's recommendations. If there is any way you be patient and wait on a FitRite kit, it's worth the wait.

    Hydraulic top & side links

Agree, if you can wait on Fit Rite, it's totally worth it. If not, you can probably find a slightly less expensive, less custom and more readily available option, but I'm not sure what that might be.

Who's Using a Trickle Charger / Battery Tender?

Thanks, that's what I figured. Never really thought about it much before but like many here, we've got some really cold temps coming in the next few days. I didn't have regular electric service in our barn last year so it wasn't even a consideration then. I haven't driven my car lately (need...

Who's Using a Trickle Charger / Battery Tender?

My L3560 LE is only a year old and thus has a newish battery still. I don't really use the tractor much during the winter and winters here are relatively mild, at least compared to those way up north. I am wondering if I should get a trickle charger / battery tender to maintain my tractor...
