    BX2380 brake question

Mine will normally not budge and scream. This time it allowed me to go. I had a full bucket both times in 4 low so I am sure I had extraction on the front tires to help move me along.

    BX2380 brake question

I have 135 hours on it currently. Every time I stop I apply the brakes. The HST peddle will stop and hold the tractor in place with a bit of movement.

Yesterday I was moving 5 tons of crushed gravel and leveling some areas around driveway project etc. I have it in 4 low most of the time. Anyway after waiting for the mini ex operator to pile up some crap clay dirt and rocks I went in a grabbed a big scoop and took off to dump it about 200...

Loading and hauling a BH77 Backhoe (without the tractor)

What type and size trailer? If the trailer is big enough to support your tractor then sure why not. If it is not then another option is make a furniture dolly and drop BH on it. Strap it on then roll it up. Or lift it with the loader and place it on the trailer. A lot depends on the...

Tires flat need to repair nothing open

I have the small HF one also. I tried it on my XG850 Sidekick tires, and well it didn't go so well. I went to get the bigger one from HF on Sunday, but no one had tubes in stock along with not knowing if a ply was split or not. I figured the Flatout would work until I could get a tube. Then...

    BX 2380 throttler/power lever question

There is also one other thing that is backwards form normal. These are HST tranny's so if you want more power let off the peddle. It sounds stupid but I know for a fact it works.

Tires flat need to repair nothing open

Well no one had tubes, so I decided to use Multi Seal Flatout. I lifted the front end pulled the shader valve out. Used the entire bottle (32oz) in the tire. After I put air in it I could see the stuff coming out of the hole. I spun the tire a few more times and let it sit with the hole on...

Tires flat need to repair nothing open

Howdy All Sort of like the title says, I have a BX2380 with 18 x 8.5 (not sure the meaning of this part) 10NHS. My front tire is flat I found the spot it is leaking, and went to plug it. It is at the base of a tread, so I put the reamer in and it followed along vertical or along a ply inside...

    BX2380 & FEL Mounting

I did the same thing when I first got my 2380. I finally had to roll the bucket and put a piece of 2 by under the low side to get it almost level with the tractor. I then played with rolling it until I got it installed. From then o I take it off in my garage. I place a piece of old carpet on...

    Three point string trimmer

Howdy I am in the market for a string trimmer or side mower. I have a lake along with a few ditches I have to cut up against. Any input on the DR and the Titan? Any other attachments under 2k that might work better or even a different brand? These are the only two I found doing a fast search...

    Kubota Insurance came though

All right I know it was my fault but!! I had pushed several trees over with a rented Mini X, I then needed to get them out of the way, so I hopped on my BX2380 and used it. I wanted to only put the hours on the mini X when needed note it was a rental. The trees ranged in diameter from 12 to...

    Linex’d my “step”

I had a friend that loved his Ram pickups, he Line X'ed the outside of the bed to stop the rust as well as the inside of the bed. A few years later driven in Cleveland Salt belt Ohio the right side of his bed started to look funny. After inspection we noticed the Line X was the only thing...

Removing clumping bamboo with a stump bucket?

Bamboo is a grass of sorts. It will hold the dirt together during flooding etc. great for privacy. Bamboo is a pain to get rid of. I would rent a mini ex and make sure I got as many roots as I could find. I have a propane burner to burn the roots that I can’t pull. Use a good herbicide to spray...

    Tractor cleaning?

most of the time my tractor will sit dirty. Once or twice a year I will clean it really well. This makes any maintenance on it a lot easier. I also clean all the zerks after greasing, I hate it when I find the left over grease with my hands.

    Tractor cleaning?

I use a spray foam cannon. I spray the heavy dirt off with the pressure washer, then use the foam cannon. I let it sit for a few minutes then rinse off. I also do this to my truck. On my truck I use a wash mit to wipe it down then rinse. if the tractor needs it or not I wash it in the spring...
