I had a PJ car hauler and really liked it, shoulda kept it! Too bad you aren't closer.. I'd take that off your hands so you could get what you really want!😁 I'm thinking a 16' PJ for my BX would be about right and not over sized for my midsize truck.

I would stick with tandem axles no matter which you go with but I think you'll be fine with the 16' steel trailer with the electric brakes.

As mentioned or at least my BX came with the knob bolts shown above and work great to keep it rattle free. Find the right bolt and maybe a locknut to keep it from backing off. Although I don't think mine has anything that keeps tension on it other than being seated against the ROPS.

Half throttle doesn't seem like it's much when you do use it to start but like you and most I don't throttle up for cold starts. I read about half throttle also or heard about it and tried a couple times.. my BX does not like any more than Idle or just above that. It's actually a rough start...

Sold my old B and ended up with a zt and never looked back. Couldn't believe I went without one that long! I'm actually looking to get a deck for my BX for back up but not necessarily looking forward to the ride. Love my Gravely Pro! Same with the old B7510 but just not as nimble!

Yep my suitcase weights fit perfect, kind of hard to get off without a rubber mallet. My blades heavy enough for about anything I need but those weights were just for ballast for loader and forks.

Looks like it might be too light, do you have any suitcase weights you could put on it?
