Loader hydraulic coupler leaking on a BX2380

And on to the next issue. I’ve read these things are known for having problems. I disconnected it, wiped it down well, and put it back on. That made it worse. Anything else I should try to do to maintain it before replacing it? Also, is it generally the top part or bottom part the leaks? Are...

    Good inexpensive grease gun?

I’ve got a bunch of Ridgid tools. They have a 18v Rigid but it’s quite expensive. About the same as the Dewalt. Also, I said I was looking for an inexpensive grease gun, not cheap. I went the cheap route already. It didn’t work out.

    Good inexpensive grease gun?

Just broke my cheapo eBay grease gun. When I do a google search, all I get is Amazon advertisements. I don’t need a powered grease gun. Just a regular one that will last. Any suggestions?

    Suite case weights?

Does anyone know of a good source online for suite care weights? Id prefer something close to 50lbs weights. Id like to pick up maybe 300-400lbs.

Rear tire spacers and weights for BX2380?

What I'm hoping will be an advantage to weight, is my turns when I take off the bucket. When I'm mowing my lawn, I take off the bucket so I don't take out a tree or car in the driveway. This thing has very little frontend control with no weight in the front and doesn't turn well. I was hoping...

Rear tire spacers and weights for BX2380?

I got some 2" spacers coming. That SHOULD work with my 60" mower deck. Also picked up 12 gallons of -20 wiper fluid. That should be enough weight. I plan to fill the front tires too. Do most of you do this? Do any of you use spacers on the front wheels?

What fluids do you use and where do you get them?

Ok, I’m sold on Kubota transmission oil. I’ll get there filters as well. My local Kubota dealer has VERY bad reviews. Is there a reasonable place online any of you recommend? Also I saw they say gear oil for the axle and gear box oil for the mower deck. Are they different? They both say SAE 80w-90.

I think my starter is bad. What else should I be looking at before buying a new starter?

Problem solved. I pulled the positive wire, scrubbed both ends with a wire brush. Used a little electrical grease. Then tightened it back down. It started right up. Thank you all for your help and suggestions. Stay tuned for my next idiot tractor moment. I’m about to do all the fluids and grease...

I think my starter is bad. What else should I be looking at before buying a new starter?

So I’m getting 12 volts at the battery when it attempts to turn. Its 12v at the starter connection with the battery on, but drops when it attempts to turn. If the cell was dead or shorted, wouldn’t it die out at the battery when I try to crank it? Also I was having connection issues a while ago...

I think my starter is bad. What else should I be looking at before buying a new starter?

Ok, it’s not the starter. The battery is constantly 12v even when I turn the key. When I connect to the positive on the starter, it's 12. When I turn the key, it drops to almost zero. That connection was loose but that didn’t fix it. I was able to jump it and get the bucket off of it. That’ll be...

I think my starter is bad. What else should I be looking at before buying a new starter?

I will try that, and test the battery too. I don’t know about ten minutes. I think you underestimate my lack of electrical knowledge. Lmichael, do you have a link to the relay your talking about? Thank you all,

I think my starter is bad. What else should I be looking at before buying a new starter?

Ran the tractor for about two hours earlier today. Came back three hours later, it won’t start. All the lights come on without dimming. The glow plugs appear to be active. I turn again to start and get a loud click. The starter does engage the fly wheel but I doesn’t seem to be trying to turn...

What fluids do you use and where do you get them?

I need to do my engine oil, hydraulic oil, and mower deck oil. On my BX2380. I picked up all the filters already. Planning to do it all this weekend. I know you can get Kubota brand everything but that seems seriously overpriced. Any recommendations? Thanks all.

Rear tire spacers and weights for BX2380?

I keep seeing these plastic cement filled weights. That just doesn’t seem like it would last on a tractor. I’d much prefer steel.

Rear tire spacers and weights for BX2380?

I’m talking about ballast weight not balance weight. I’m looking for 50lbs or more per wheel.

Rear tire spacers and weights for BX2380?

Does anyone have a good source for wheel weights? I also have a 60” mower deck. Not sure if that’ll effect how wide I can go with spacers.

Rear tire spacers and weights for BX2380?

Hi all, this is my first post here. I’m thinking of adding spacers and weights to my rear tires. My driveway isn’t that steep but I came close to tipping (I’m new to having a tractor) the other day while trying to move dirt off the side of my driveway. I’ll probably add some weights or get them...
