    BX2380 hydraulics still leaking

It looks the same. That is the fitting I read was needed on the website but I’m not 100% sure.

    BX2380 hydraulics still leaking

None of the threads look damaged. I stippped off the thread lock stuff. So just degrease and re-install?

    BX2380 hydraulics still leaking

I got I need to remove, clean and reinstall all this. What is over tightening? I may have done that already.

    BX2380 hydraulics still leaking

This is what I put on it. There are two connections that just screw together in the circled part. One of them, possibly both are leaking on all for lines.

    BX2380 hydraulics still leaking

Ok, I used a thread lock that was specifically for hydraulic lines, they are still leaking. What am I doing wrong? I’ve got a road to fix but I don’t want to use my tractor until this leak is fixed. As far as I can tell, all four connections are still leaking. Do I just need to wrench them down...

    BX2380 hydraulics still leaking

I did not. That is probably the issue.

    BX2380 hydraulics still leaking

The parts are correct. It just seems they are leaking a bit. They are on extremely tight. It doesn’t seem to leak until I start working it. When I was scraping it leaked. I cleaned it all up, tightened it all up, and it was fine until I started scraping again. Two passes, and I had hydraulic oil...

    BX2380 hydraulics still leaking

So about a month ago, I did what I read a lot about and replaced the BX hydraulic connection with four individual connections. I ran it once since then. No problem. I used it today for some back scraping for about 45 minutes. It’s leaking every bit as bad as it was before. Where do I go from...

One of the worst Kubota parts ever made is no longer a part of my tractor!

I get that done if yours last a long time. I take my bucket off regularly because I mow my grass with my BX2380 also. I could mow with it but I’m pretty sure I would take out some trees and damage a car at some point. I would bet if you took your bucket off four or five times a year, it would...

One of the worst Kubota parts ever made is no longer a part of my tractor!

Maybe not but Kubota sells it on all the BX tractors.

One of the worst Kubota parts ever made is no longer a part of my tractor!

Why do you say that? I’ve read a lot about it. It seems this part is known for leaks.

One of the worst Kubota parts ever made is no longer a part of my tractor!

It sure felt good to be done with this turd of a part. Got some decent, and much less expensive parts on there to replace it.

Why won’t my BX2380 mower deck lock in top position?

Ok, thank you all for the responses. I’ll see if that does the trick.

Why won’t my BX2380 mower deck lock in top position?

I’m saying I physically can not turn the dial to the “top” setting. 1-4 is fine. I can’t got from 4 to top or from 1 to top. The dial won’t go. The deck is fully lifted when I’m trying to do this.

Why won’t my BX2380 mower deck lock in top position?

For some reason I can’t get my mower deck to lock in the top position. I just did all the maintenance on the whole tractor. Put the deck back on. Mowed with no issues. It just won’t lock up. Any ideas?

    Loose front axle on BX?

Ok, I know it’s supposed to pivot there. It just seemed a little extreme to me how easy it shifted side to side. I thought it should be tightened up. Glad to hear I don’t have more work on this thing in my immediate future.

    Loose front axle on BX?

I was servicing my BX2380 yesterday. I put the front up on ramps and began to use a floor jack on the back in the center. The tractor started tipping over. It wasn't high enough were in was dangerous or anything, but I found that odd. I pushed the tractor back to the center and it tipped the...

So do you generally replace the top, bottom or both?

Does anyone have info on this?

Loader hydraulic coupler leaking on a BX2380

I saw a YouTube video where someone did exactly that. Would you happen to know part numbers for that? I think I need to do that. I’ve not read anything good about the Kubota coupler. It seems like the main point of contention with this tractor.
