    Hydrostat noise question

I don't hear anything. HSTs sound different from tractor to tractor, depending on which fluid you have whether or not your in 4WD. etc, etc on and on

    WiFi gate opener for $12

When you say 'ANYONE else' and 'certain people' please elaborate. Who would Alexa tell that I'm opening my gate or my garage or turning on/off lights and devices? Why do I care about that, or stated better why should I care? For instance, my garage doors are also RF/wifi and to my knowledge...

    WiFi gate opener for $12

As the old saying goes... You get what you pay for. These gate openers are cheap and basically disposable. I do not have some big elaborate gate, just a 14 foot $180 cattle gate so I cannot justify a $2,000 Apollo or lift master gate opener. So if I have to replace it every 2-4 years I can...

    WiFi gate opener for $12

I have looked into that. Here is the thing with the Wifi/app that I like. I can open my gate from anywhere in the US (perhaps the world). The other nice thing with this is that it interfaces with Alexa, Google, Apple home etc. So if someone is at the gate I can simply tell Alexa to "turn on...

I'm sure that was a fair treaty.

    WiFi gate opener for $12

So, for some (maybe most) of you this may be nothing new but anyway. My (not so) Mighty Mule gate opener died the other day after 2.5 years of pretty heavy use. We have 4 of us at the house and with kids it probably cycles 12-20 times a day, so roughly 13,687 cycles for a $300 piece of gear...

    The right to repair

I completely agree. So lets start with your stolen land and give it back to its rightful owner. Since you really believe this what time should we have the moving trucks there?

    Possible DEF shortages

Not to get too far off into the weeds... The interstate commerce clause prevents states from restricting interstate commerce, hence the name. Art. VI, Para 2, states that federal laws (such as the ICC) trump state laws. So yes, that's what I am saying.

    Possible DEF shortages

I'm not saying it, Article VI, Paragraph 2 of the Constitution is.

    GM and others stop production

I was thinking the same thing. In reading the article it appears they 'hope to be water dependent'. Not sure how they are hoping that with 13 inches of rain a YEAR and a plant that needs millions of gallons a DAY.

    Possible DEF shortages

That's not how it works. Everything in those ports is headed not only to California but the entire country. Any action taken by Cali that stops that movement of goods effects interstate commerce. Preventing trucks from entering or leaving Cali is the definition of interstate commerce.

    Possible DEF shortages

Everything is interstate commerce today, everything. Has been since 1964, Katzenbach v. McClung.

Stand for parking FEL while raised.

It may not be what you want to do but.... you could just you could just leave the FEL outside (covered with tarp or not) and keep the tractor in the garage. Many folks without storage space leave the whole tractor outdoors year-round, the FEL would be fine.

    ADA attorney

Being discriminated against is never a mole hill and is protected by the EEOC. How about if they turned him away because he was white/black, male/female, jewish/catholic, old/young...would you also be fine with that because 'he has plenty of work'. Whether he has no work or plenty of work is...

    ADA attorney

There is no constitutional right to a civil attorney. Everyone needs to relax. That letter is their standard letter. In fact, we get them daily on EVERY EEOC complaint we file. Including the cases we end up making a LOT of money on.

    ADA attorney

This is a typical reply, has nothing to do with your claim having merit or not. They issue a 'right to sue' letter to everyone.

Projects you shouldn't start (and know better)

Me too. I used to change the oil on all our vehicles. Now, I just don't have the 'will' to squeeze under there and fool around. The quick lube places are about $10 more and well worth it to me.
