HVAC experts: question on detecting coolant leaks

What you smelled was the dust and other things floating around that goes right past most filters and sticks to the fins. When the fins are cold they condense the moisture in the air, which falls down into a collection tray and drains off. When the system cycles and refrigerant stops moving, the...

KTAC insurance rate hike - again!

I bought my B2410 and loader in 2002 and have had it covered since on my HO for ~$14,500 - the $2500 deductible. Covered for fire, nature and theft, not sure about roll over though. The new one I am contemplating KTAC for the life of the loan since insurance is a must for the loan. It will...

Is the equipment shortage ending? Probably not, but look at this JD dealer's lot.

The thing I am waiting on is the LA805. It seems the backordered rear remote kits will be in before the FEL will. I just hope it arrives before snow falls and my barn becomes ice locked. Happens every winter.

    L60 series rear Power Beyond

Well considering it will be a new kit, chances are it will be the latest version. If I can get away from having to bungy a remote, I would prefer that route. I would also have to replace the fitting on the log splitter in order to switch between them since It has one male and one female on it.

Synthetic or Conventional motor oil in Kubota diesels

I use oils that meet the manufacturers specifications, regardless if dino or syn. One change I may go with a semi syn, the next a full syn, all depends on the upcoming workload. Either way, I use a name brand oil, for the most part Mobil 1, or Shell Rotella. What really matters most is not...

    L60 series rear Power Beyond

Now that I have the B2410 PB for a log splitter in the rear, I am wondering if the L60 has a similar setup in the rear. I have an L4060 on order, tractor is in, waiting on loader and rear remote kits, and now that I can split logs with te B2410, I want to have the same option with the bigger...

    Fire Extinguisher !!!

One word, Insurance. As long as whatever you have is covered by insurance, does it really matter IF a dry chem is used? The important thing is getting the fire out so it doesn't spread and cause serious damage, let insurance take care of the rest. I carry them in both trucks, just in case...

    B2410 Rear Hydraulics install

What I have in mind is a plate to attach to the ROPS using a U bolt I have. I found Ubolts that are a perfect fit, stainless steel, 1/2" diameter on Amazon, comes as a unit of 4. I used 2 to attach a light bar I made out of 1/8" angle, and they worked great, so I have 2 more laying around. I...

    B2410 Rear Hydraulics install

Still working on permanent solution for when not using the splitter so I don't have 8' of hose coiled up behind me. I got another pair of connectors, just looking for bulkhead fittings and a means of securing them with shorter hoses and some 90* fittings off the block. I need to source some...

    Sticky brakes B2410

Looks like all it needed was the left rod lengthened two turns. Brakes no longer stick. Problem solved.

    B2410 Rear Hydraulics install

Got a chance to use it yesterday. 4 hours splitting wood, have my 5.5 x 10 flatbed filled 3' high and only halfway through the pile of logs. Thats just one tree, I have about 6 more to go. Nice thing is, the fittings make good hand warmers too.

Best implement for grading— new house site?

They are great for gravel drives, but only if the drive is still workable, if full of deep holes and rocks, only a box blade can fix that. Since my drives are still fairly new, I may look into getting one next year, I suck at the box blade and did more harm than good when I tried it, stuck with...

    Expectations?

I hope to live to 120 regardless if I can walk or not just so I can have Uncle Sam pay me back all those years I put into SS. That and torment the crap out of my kids for as long as possible. 😆

    HF

Was at Fleet Farm on Saturday and things are getting bare there as well. Half the hydraulic fittings were non existent. The ammo shelves were quite empty, and the HVAC section was getting there as well. There was a wall for lures with very few lures on it.

Recommend a kubota product for my use case

I do all the above (except Generator) with a B2410. I think the B2601 is the new improved version of the B2410. It's a 24 HP CUT. It more than likely will also run the generator, heck I baled hay with my B2410. There are aftermarket cabs that can be put on a B2601 if you want it for winter...
