My old machine is needing repair..

The anterior replacement supposedly doesnt cut through any muscle which speeds up recovery time. My right hip done 22 years ago and left 18 were posterior. Recovery wasnt too bad but being in pain most of my arthritic life ive become quite pain tolerant. My first hip prosthesis I had to wait for...

    Knee pain from HST?

Go see a Doc! I get both knees shot up a few times a year. Occasionally the right knee gets drained. You could have some fluid build up? Your age has nothing to do with it. I had a total hip replacement at 38 years old and 4 years later the other hip was done. Im 60 now and will be looking at...

    Guns...Times have changed...

I could remember being about 13 years old. Me and my cousin would have rifles slung over the shoulder walking down the sidewalk in the city on our way down to the river to shoot rats and no one gave you a second look! Times have changed!

Tractor instead of fork lift - newbie

No offense to the tractor world, but a tractor makes a terrible forklift especially when unloading trailers and or using a racking system! Thats an accident waiting to happen! The tractor will be slow and herky jerky. The forklift will be faster and safer and MUCH tighter turning radius than a...

    Caught Fire!

Ive seen birds build a nest on the leaf spring of a truck that got used daily! Amazing the amount of damage they can cause building nests in the wrong place. I guess you had no insurance? Lucky it didnt burn to the ground!

Garden fencing. What do you use?

I really like the idea of electric fencing! Probably cheaper than fence and looks better! I did however see some youtube vids of critters taking the shock over starvation. That would probably be my luck. I would not like to see my little dog get zapped, but I guess it would only be once! :D

Garden fencing. What do you use?

When we first moved to our home we were so over run with chippys they tunneled under my garage floor and made it collapse! Rat traps with peanut butter and sunflower seeds worked great. Also the same bait set up along the stone wall and then pick them off with the .22! The best was the feral...

Garden fencing. What do you use?

Good Idea jyoutz. A small mesh fence along the bottom maybe 3' high for little critters and then the 72" on top. That will give me 9' of protection.

    Dents on Brand New Loader?

That mark on the loader is nothing. Look closer on your machine. Im sure you could find a touch of rust here and there or a mark in the paint! I do understand how you feel about it but it looks like a non issue to me. If they take it back you might wait over a year for a new loader! Let me know...

    New garden question

Well I will be working on compost until its time to plant. I have lots of wood chips, one pile is 2 years old. I will mix with grass clippings, ground leaves and kitchen scraps. I will source some manure near by. I dont know for sure if my dirt is lacking nutrients. It is green lush grass right...

    New garden question

Just before winter last year I picked up a mold board plow for the tractor, but it was just too late to plow, I also had to remove two big stumps where the garden is going which I finally did this week. I also bought a new walk behind tiller a few weeks ago. Its virgin ground and never been...
