Stump removers, What have you used

Am I missing something? You said, "I have a feeling I would actually be better off buying one." One what? With 8" diameter being the largest your BH70 backhoe will take them out easily!

BX mower deck install and removal tips

What size deck do you have with 2" spacers? Im guessing the 60"? Also dragging the deck without turning the scalp wheels they will start to get chewed up from the concrete floor! Ive got too many multiple joint problems to not turn the scalp wheels so it will roll. Just yesterday I was outside...

    New BX 1880 Owner

I would agree with you if he said he was going to clear 4 acres of woods! Alas he never did. I guess as you were reading it wasnt long before you stopped paying attention to what the OP wrote and were just thinking this is an opportunity to post my usual " buy enough tractor" again. You said...

    Compact tractor purchase

1 acre of stumps is a task for almost any tractor! Especially when they are large and close together with roots intertwined or you cant dig all the way around them because something is in the way. Small stumps no problem. Large stumps upwards of 24-30 inches dont think because you have a back...

    Rear chains on a BX

Skeets I dont have spacers. They would help with clearance issues for chains but once the MMM goes on in summer the spacers would be a problem. No problem pushing snow here either! Its when going down my drive to the back of the property. Its steep and where I get 4 foot drifts if I try to push...

    Rear chains on a BX

Maybe there is enough room for chains on a BX23S but I know its tight in there. If the chain comes loose its probably too late and the damage may be done but maybe not as the BX isnt going to spin a tire like a car. The loader valve is in the right fender well! I only need chains when going to...

    Rear chains on a BX

The MMM is removed for winter or any FEL work. When the deck is on there is no room for spacers.

    Rear chains on a BX

Does anyone use rear chains on a BX without spacers? I cant use spacers because of my 54" mid mount mower deck and im not going to install and remove spacers every winter. I know theres not much room for chains on the BX. Are there any other options im not aware of? I was thinking maybe some...

Are all BX Series 80 created equal?

It should be a piece of cake! Got both hips done over 20 years ago thats when they went in through the butt cheek which is a longer recovery, now they go through the side. Youll be up and walking the same day! Best of luck to you!

    Rotary Mower Damage

Nor the equipment! Actually, my first few jobs were as a welder. There's days I wish I had a nice stick welder and mig but then I'd need torches and a plasma cutter a few good hand tools and so on. If your going to fabricate rather than just fix stuff it can be costly. It's something for me that...
