    ROPS

Back to the original question though...the MFG's legal/risk team is going to say any modifications you do to the factory equipment indemnifies them from a lawsuit. That said a court would ultimately decide. If it were mine in this case I would do it it if is helping you in some way.

80 foot trench for propane line

The gas line is a polycarbonate (like PEX tubing) with a detection wire (at least they are in CO by code). You wont need it very wide at all to fit it. Just dont do any right angles and you should be fine. I dug mine with a 12 inch bucket. An 8 inch wide trench would have been fine also...

    Who Owns the Fence

Just be sure. For instance one of my previous homes in a residential area had an easement on the fence line with my neighbor. To clarify...who owns the land the fence is on is more important in my opinion. For instance if he owns the fence but it is on your property...he will need to move...

    Who Owns the Fence

To me it will just increase property value to have it in good condition so I would let them do it. However I would not pay a dime for it, as you had to fit the bill last time. Also still good to find out who actually owns the land it is on (and if there is an easement). Forget about the fence...

    Electric Car in your future?

It costs about $1 million to build a fast charging station. Unfortunately gas stations that have put them in are being "surge" charged for electricity by the utility companies, making it way more expensive. Many have threatened to disable the charging stations if accommodations are not made...

    Electric Car in your future?

Yes except the Wright Flyer had no predecessor to supplant. It was an original. This EV plane is just a far worse version of current turbine based aircraft. To me no comparison.

    Electric Car in your future?

I would recommend you all join our TBN thread on EVs but you rowdy folks would probably get it shut down ;) Seriously though.... 1. Electric motors are more efficient at delivering equivalent power to a drivetrain than an ICE. This has been proven with extensive testing. 2. The power...

    Im sure its simple

Even ground for hookup is most important. I like to drop implements on blocking in the yard to keep them more level. Can you post a picture of the issue you are having? I cant quite get it from your description. Without that I say get a sledge hammer (3-4 lb,) and a piece of wood and try...

How crazy are you about topping off your tank?

I use winterizer in diesel fuel, and just fill up when I am down at 1/4 tank most of the time. I have a 100 gal transfer tank that I also use over the winter.

    Dealer & Delivery issues

The comparison is your car isnt digging dirt, moving rocks, plowing, mowing, or doing any number of tasks that subject machinery to rust and excess dirt. Look no further than a digging bucket or FEL bucket. They dont stay painted for long. Not unless you live in the city on a mowed lawn and...

Can anyone ID this cotter pin from my BX?

    Dealer & Delivery issues

I am right with ET as well. Everything but the hood is consequential and will get some rust anyway. Now that hood.....no way. They need to order a free replacement. Remember we arent buying a car here. Its a tractor and is meant for work. Work means rust and dirt. I would sand out the...

How is everyone using their diesel supply at the end of the world?

Also learned today that even though supply is at 25 ish days, production has not changed so there is no reason to expect a need to dip into that supply at this point. Leave it to our govt to screw that up though.....

How is everyone using their diesel supply at the end of the world?

The answer is Capitalism. The US government does not tell oil producers or refiners who they have to sell product to. So US companies sell on the global market most likely to who will pay the most. Oil is a global commodity. Are you advocating for more US government oversight of US...

How is everyone using their diesel supply at the end of the world?

Just filled up my 100 gal transfer tank...nothing to do with current supply...its the normal time of year I fill it up before the winter so I have fuel for all of the snow removal! I had to go to 3 different stations...no I dont use off road because I usually fill up the truck with what is...

    Help!! Kubota excavator won’t start

Pretty sure only Kubota repair facilities have access to Diagmaster……maybe someone can confirm.
