    B2301 and Snow

I was always shearing a lot of pins also on my snowblower. I did some research and found out that you only torque them to 8 pounds and I was always doing it a lot heavier. I haven't sheared one since I got a small torque wrench and torqued them to only 8 pounds. Before I would shear 2 or...

    Do you need a truck?

I haul things in the bed and tow many times every month. I guess i'm well above average in those 2 areas. As for off roading I only do that about 6 times a year. Above average in that area also.

Hi neighbor, I live in Cascade and have 5 3/4 acres and a BX23s. It's small and takes more time to do some projects but always get it done. We just built our home and have used it for everything. Its been a log skidder, excavater, bulldozer, snowblower, etc. We would have not gotten...

    Garbage can carriers

R2 manufacturing makes what they call a trash tamer. It connects to a skid that you buy from them that prevents you from digging to deep with your bucket. I’ve got one and it works very well.

    BX23S PTO not engaging

I had the same thing happen to mine and took it to the dealer to fix. They had to take the hst apart. there was a chunk of case sealer jamed in the pto valve that prevented it from working. I was blowing snow with it when it just stopped working. Thankfully mine was still under warranty.

Cleaning air filter for 100 hr service

When I was a logger I learned to clean it every day. Every day after I use my tractor I pull the air filter and just bang it gently on the bucket or tire and that removes the dust and debris that has accumulated in it. Some days it is really loaded up.

    Impeller on BX2816 seized?

I have the same snowblower and had the exact same problem. One blade on the impeller was bent and was scraping on the housing. I just ran it and in a few minutes it was fine. I’m going to have to replace the impeller on it. Darn large rocks really do a number on it.
