    Stalling when trying to accelerate

Check out post #9 here (and 21 has a pic of the broken wire that caused this on mine) https://www.orangetractortalks.com/forums/threads/l3901hst-wont-move.55235/page-2

Good / Effective over the counter Weed Killer..?

When I use glyphosate (typically the generic concentrate from TSC), with my hard water, I always need to add some ammonium sulfate (AMS) to make the glyphosate more effective. Also a non-ionic surfactant helps the gly stick to the green parts of the weed better.

    DIY BH77 Install Journey

I went with 3” casters, myself. This was my second, slightly longer version. I wanted it long enough to be able to release the pressure on the two BH hoses before disconnecting them from the back end. The backhoe will ‘curl’ in on itself as you work the sticks to take the pressure off, once...

    l3901 spacers

You may not need to change to larger attachments, since you would about have to have the rears with no pressure in order to leave a complete edge to edge footprint. If I do have any trouble with my wider box blade, it’s usually going up a grade with a full box of rock—easy workaround on the fly...

    l3901 spacers

Can’t say whether or not 4” would be an issue or not, since I haven’t had them. The physics tells me it certainly adding more stress to things back there, but no problems so far for me with 3” and my BH77 in that timeframe—which in tractor hours, has been about 800hrs with the spacers on. I...

    l3901 spacers

Also on hills—I went with 3” spacers from Bro-Tek on my 3301. Easy install and good support from Richard there. Other than getting a wider box blade later, there haven’t been any other considerations for me. Have had them on for three years now—and no issues with the added weight on the back...

Top and Tilt Installed Picture Kubota 3901

Yeah, I added a note underneath the video itself advising that we don’t need the TEE on our models. For the OP, this is the plate under the seat that the factory gear has you remove and bolt its sandwich to. I guess we really aren’t sure though as to whether the OP is even using a Kubota kit...

Top and Tilt Installed Picture Kubota 3901

Have a look at this primer— good for those starting out. Also, on our L3301/3901’s there’s a T-port under the seat that the factory valve kits bolt up against, that keeps you from having to use a TEE at the hydraulic block. Lots of good info on Brian’s Fit-Rite website, as well.

    PTO Possibilities and Probabilities

Thank you for all your replies—it about has to be the cable adjustment NIW mentioned. I keep the spring area at the other end of the selector clean and oiled up pretty good. Wasn’t sure though if it was an ‘all or nothing’ engagement. NIW—and yup, it’s had two fluid changes so far, and was...

    PTO Possibilities and Probabilities

It’s best described as the PTO is ‘turning’ in L range, as opposed to regular spinning—just happened to notice the paddle on my spreader rotating at very low speed even after I had disengaged it. It may have always been doing this and I had never noticed it previously. The PTO turning speed...

    PTO Possibilities and Probabilities

What might cause the PTO on my L3301HST stay ‘slightly’ on once I’ve disengaged it? By ‘slightly’ on, I mean it’s not spinning unless the tractor is moving, and not at all at the same spin speed as when I’m trying to use it (engaged). And it seems more so if I’m in LOW range—don’t even think...

Top and Tilt Installed Picture Kubota 3901

Brian does great work and was well worth the wait for me. He even sent me some shorter hoses later when the originals were too long.
