    Nice Day for a Fall

I’ve posted a few booboos by the wife over the years so I owe her this one. Built a nice fence to keep the pugs from escaping the garage, really works great 😊 Today I was hopping back and forth over it as I installed 3PH on the Kubota. Well, I’m not a spring chicken anymore and this was the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Dropped the BH and as I started to put 3PH on I thought I’d drill out the drawbar so a 1” Clevis will fit. I think Kubota needs to step up and do this at the factory. Tried a 1” bit in pops ole’ trusty drill press - man is that some hard steel. Switched to a step drill which would have been...

I put this one in as it’s been recommended by others. No trouble seeing it and at night I wish I could dim it.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Very nice! One of my shoe castings is broken, the factory laughed when I asked about a replacement. She said they do stock the tune up kit for this model.

    Kubota Mx 6000

No I did not. It looked in good shape. At that time the tractor only had about 350 hours on it.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Moved K out of the way so I could mount bending brake to the wall. Getting to old to muscle it around anymore!

    What RPM to rub BH92?

Lugbolt is one of our local experienced Kubota mechanics and knows a whole bunch more than me. He's helped countless people here, kind of like one of our "grandmasters". Hopefully he'll respond. The short answer is "no" it won't hurt it and you'll watch your DPF % decrease at the same time.

    What RPM to rub BH92?

You'll get all kinds of answers, start slow until you get the hang of it. I think the manual "recommends" at least 75%. I usually run mine at WOT as it helps keep the DPF clean and makes up for all the low RPM puttering I do.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I forgot to post this awhile ago sorry. For all of you that have a backhoe on back. Reverse your pads for soil work. Wow, what a difference in traction. Machine stays planted - makes it harder to crab yourself around but it’s worth it. I just use a hitch pin on the other side of the pad pin.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Ok now weld a QH on it and you can move 3PH attachments easily. I had my fab shop add about 2" at the bottom so I have longer motion range. There are plenty of threads on this here on OTT. I go backwards and rake leaves with the 3PH harrow.
