    Prescribed burn

Besides my large (to me) oak savanna restoration project I have planted 1/4 acre of native species forbs and grasses in my back yard where I live. Being planted in Nov of 2019 it was due for its first controlled burn which as you might imagine I was a nervous wreck. Here in Central Wisconsin...

    What is this switch for?

Correct me if I am mistaken but is that not the function of a relay. So you can use low amp switches and wiring remote from the relay that then powers a high amperage draw motor or lights etc?

    What is this switch for?

My best guess considering a 40amp rated relay wired in by the battery, either a lot of extra lights but possibly more likely an electrically operated chute rotator?

    Hunting and game posts

Thanks! At this stage of the game I enjoy seeing them and thus far have not become a nuisance problem . That may change the first time I am chased back into my Jeep! lol. Here is another video I recovered from my little wildlife pond camera yesterday.

    Good Deal - l2501

I can offer some context on what I paid for my L2501 in Nov of 2019. My tractor currently has 175 hours. L2501 HST , loader with 66 inch light duty bucket, SSQA option. R4 industrial tires and dealer installed Landpride 3rd function kit. Third function kit at the time dealer installed was about...

    Good Deal - l2501

Bx2680 or B2650 perhaps? Is the L2501 HST or gear drive? Skid steer quick attach front loader option? What tire option?

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I spent the day at my land yesterday moving storm damaged trees. Early in the week we had an extremely wet heavy snow with some moderate high winds. I am still dealing with the Scot Pine die off, which is a good thing, and anytime I have a weather event a lot of the dead but standing Scots...

    Box Blade Struggle

You absolutely can get by with running the 54" box blade. I run a very light duty 48" box blade behind my L2501. I purchased the box blade for my B7100 and just have never gotten around to buying a proper sized box blade for the L2501. Dug two wild life ponds, built trails and maintain 3/4...

B21 / Bevel spriral input of the differentiel / how to remove it

Hopefully someone with experience on your front axle will stop in and help you out. I wanted to help clarify what component you are working on and or need help with. I did check with Kubotabooks.com and did not see a WSM available as a free, (donations accepted) , downloadable manual. I know...

B21 / Bevel spriral input of the differentiel / how to remove it

Jay, I think it is more likely the OP is dealing with the front axle and front differential from his description . "I removed the front drive shaft and I want to remove the spiral bevel at the input of the differential to replace the bearing." Warning* Keep in mind this is the parts diagram...

    China/Ebay

First time I have been called a conspiracy theorist, I will wear it as a badge of honor! ;) WFM, North Idaho Wolfman may well be correct that nothing nefarious is going on with your electrical connector being sent to you , and of course your going to do what you want, but at the very least I...

    China/Ebay

If memory serves me right there is a type of scam when people are mailed cheap , random items that they did not order. getting-unordered-seeds-and-stuff-mail "You might have read about the “brushing” scam. In this one, somebody sends you stuff, unordered, because it lets them give themselves a...

Does anyone have first hand knowledge of Hipcamp?

When you set your listing up as a host you can stipulate what is required from the campers such as they provide a means of containing their waste (Luggable loo, etc) and that they pack it out. In my case I will offer a outhouse style with waterless composting toilet. Of course no guarantees...

Does anyone have first hand knowledge of Hipcamp?

My understanding of Harvesthosts is that they cater to self contained RV's and many of the spots available for booking will bring you to a location , for example, a winery , with the goal of getting the camper to visit, take the tour, buy product from the winery outlet store. Hipcamp offers a...

Front blade options for a BX2230

I can not offer much if any help but does appear as if there is a BX2763A model. Looking at the part breakdowns there does appear to be SN break. I also can not determine if this serial number break denotes the difference between a bx2763 and bx2763a

Dealer quotes on L3302 and L3902

I did want to mention that I would not get caught up in the "added" expense of tires that Kubota seems to charge compared to JD, LS, Kioti as you mentioned. When I shopped for my compact tractor I narrowed it down to the Kubota HST L2501 and the comparable Kioti tractor. I expected and was...

Dealer quotes on L3302 and L3902

Yes, that is my understanding. Here is a link to the Build my Kubota tractor site. Will you be adding a loader to the options? If so, and I think most would agree , the R4's or R14's make the most sense. L3902HST

Turf tires are also offered which cost the least of the four tire options. $1510 added to base price of tractor.

Dealer quotes on L3302 and L3902

The Kubota Build my Tractor website , for the standard L , 3902 at least, has a price added to the base price even for the R1 tires, $1678. R4's add $2572 to the base price. I think this is just how Kubota prices it's tractors. I would guess the only way to know if you're actually paying...
