    “Borrowing” the neighbor’s equipment… the Liability…

Sorry for your experience and hope things work out for both you and the owner of the small excavator. “Neither a borrower nor a lender be” is how I normally operate when it comes to tools or machines although I am much more willing to lend my tractors for neighbor's jobs as long as they accept...

    Kubota B7100 wiring problems

Kubota did offer an upgraded higher output dynamo (alternator) for the B7100 with very detailed instructions for mounting and wiring. You may be able to glean some useful information from it.

B7100 Pilot Bushing Help - Grinding Gears

This is gear drive and not HST? I could be wrong but if gear drive it would have non synchro transmission which would mean you should be at a standstill while shifting. I do not think it’s possible or practical to shift while moving and would imangine it would be extremely hard on the...

I was worried I was expecting way to much out of such a small tractor.

The OP mentions it is 4 wheel drive in his post.

L2501 won't crank, no solenoid click

If your L2501 is a HST there is a safety switch for the HST pedal , (neutral position), also a pto safety switch . I would guess it has the pto switch regardless if HST or gear. With the kids sitting on the tractor first thing I would do is check to see if the pto engagement lever is in the...

    Must be Spring...

Very convincing birch trees! Well done. Did you model your railroad in S scale (1:64th) ? Did you carry 1:64th over to your scratch built farm buildings etc being you had the vehicles in that scale?

    How many remember these

The good old days of no seat belts, non-padded dashboards and pre orange barrels, orange safety cones and fines double in work zones! :ROFLMAO:

    Need Help

The B7100's are thermal syphoning and do not have a water pump. What you pictured is a dynamo which keeps your battery charged. There is a gasket and water jacket behind the dynamo which could be leaking. Are you sure it is not the radiator hose, either loose, cracked or pin hole? Incase...

    yup, EVs are soooo great...

Seems you can add electric tractors to that same category of being "sooooo great". lol. Maybe some day, but for now, IMHO , Ev's are one of the biggest boondoggles ever pushed on a gullible population.

    Grapple Grappling

I have a L2501 with filled tires. As it sits with loader about 4200 lbs I would guess. To be fair I tend to be pretty much in tune with the stresses and techniques operating the grapple and my soil is sandy. I am not suggesting that with your much heavier L35 you could not bend and tweak the...

    Grapple Grappling

I find it interesting the differences in perception on a piece of equipment. I have dug out thousand's of dead and dying scot pines , moved some rock and as of yet not bent a tine or have had a problem with my LP SGC0660. As far as no grease zirks on the rod end pivots I should be so lucky to...

    L2501 Fuel Strainer*******Updated*******

The biggest reason I was looking for a strainer that sat in the neck of my fuel tank is the propensity for dirt, dust and debris collection around the neck and under side of the filler cap. The mear act of removing the cap can cause that dirt and debris to fall into the tank. It is really hard...

    L2501 Fuel Strainer*******Updated*******

I had looked for a strainer for my L2501 a year ago and was not able to find a OEM for it. I am assuming not all L series have the same fuel tank filler neck. Do you know if that part number does in fact fit The L2501. I think that is what the OP's model also.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

This young man has been helping me out on my oak savanna project. He is a student at UW Stevens Point in conservations studies. Good worker and respectful of the land and the equipment! :) We started the day by changing the engine oil and filter, air filter and greased the loader and grapple...

    Taking out a little wear

Interesting thread Dan! In my gunsmith days this was one of my favorite tips to quickly find the center of round stock when drilling a cross hole. Amazing how accurate it was and I always had a 6 inch rule in shirt pocket. Of course when drilling needed to be done "dead nuts accurate" I would...

L4701 How to drain reserve coolant tank.

From the parts drawing it looks as if it lifts straight up, but possibly after releasing the two “locking” tabs . Be advised , I have no direct experience doing this, but what makes sense to me by looking at the drawing.

I went to the dark side 😱😱

Wow, thats crazy! Did you confirm that with other dealers? Without digging out my sales contract on my L2501 I remembered a quick attach loader option was about $500? I went to the Build my Kubota and this is what I THINK I understand. A loader with SSQA is $5753 and requires a bucket ...

The video link NIW posted in post #17 explains and demonstrates very nicely on how bi-speed works.
