From the op’s description , 4 wheel drive and MST, which maybe HST , and his picture of the serial number does it make sense that his tractor is a B7100HST-D “old type”, SN less than 60163? If so Messicks exploded parts list clearly lists a mid pto kit and individual parts.

If the OP's B7100 is an HST and from the SN it would be an old style I think. Looking at Messicks parts list for his tractor the mid pto is sold as a "kit", very expensive kit, yikes! . Is it possible that his was never set up with a mid pto? 84587 Parts catalog/transmission/T02500 drive case
