    B7100 snowblower

From the op’s description , 4 wheel drive and MST, which maybe HST , and his picture of the serial number does it make sense that his tractor is a B7100HST-D “old type”, SN less than 60163? If so Messicks exploded parts list clearly lists a mid pto kit and individual parts.

    B7100 snowblower

If the OP's B7100 is an HST and from the SN it would be an old style I think. Looking at Messicks parts list for his tractor the mid pto is sold as a "kit", very expensive kit, yikes! . Is it possible that his was never set up with a mid pto? 84587 Parts catalog/transmission/T02500 drive case

    Looking for Snowblower!!!

I am very happy with the traction I get with turf tires, no chains. My driveway is blacktop and is on a hill. I maintain my neighbors gravel drive which is more or less level.

    Looking for Snowblower!!!

I run a B2650 on my late model B7100hst. Here in central Wi we rarely see snows over 12 inches. My tractor has plenty of HP for the conditions that I encounter. I do most of my snow removal with the rear mounted 3 pt blade unless the snow depth is towards that 10 to 12 inches or greater. I also...

Lubrication of LA765 FEL on L4701

Please do not quote me on this, but If memory serves the 3 bolts that hold the cover on have a smaller head size than the 2 that hold the valve body on. If you go to the Messick's parts they have a picture of the underside of the cover showing the boss's and threaded inserts that accept the 3...

Lubrication of LA765 FEL on L4701

"I have tried lifting my shroud but it feels like it is bolted on from underneath. There are five bolts on the plate covering the bottom I may try taking out to see what I can see." After looking at the parts list for your loader control stick and valve I believe it to be the same as whats on...

    Old Iron

My Dad's AC WD45 he purchased when he bought a hobby farm in 1979 while working full time in law enforcement. He had a fondness for Allis Chalmers orange due to being a tool and die maker in the Allis tractor division until 1964. Regretfully neither Dad or the tractor are with us but know he...

Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

My Grandson expressed interest in sitting with me in my box blind durning the upcoming deer rifle season. I built the blind with large openings and the wind has always been a problem. This summer I did some rafter blocking and added easy to open plexiglass windows. Yesterday evening it was...

    Adding weight to Brushcutter

My thoughts are that if the extra weight , bringing the total static weight close to that 770 lbs, is toward the front its less likely to impose as high dynamic forces compared to the weight being at the rear.

    Adding weight to Brushcutter

I am in the middle of digging a pond with my L2501, loaded tires and small box blade for ballast. Imagining the OP's scenario I think the weight of the bucket load , and then backing up the pond embankment (if indeed he's backing up ) he is unloading a lot of the weight of the rear tires. Hence...

B7200 HSTE Radiator questions. Help wanted.

I found a parts listing for a thermostat from Messick's for the B7200HSTE. It is listed under Engine/ water flange rather than cooling water system. Please double check before ordering as I only play a parts counter guy on the Internet , https://www.messicks.com/ku/84593

New owner of a 1989 Kubota B8200 manual shift with loader. First tractor.

In 2009 I purchased a B7100 HST with 800 hours and the only implement was a mid mount mower deck. I realized its not the same tractor as yours but it is somewhat in the same weight class with similar capabilities with a 16HP gross engine. I now have a 50 inch front mount snowblower, 6 foot...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I started the day greasing the loader and tightening one of the angled zerk's that had loosened up. Continued my wildlife pond dig, approaching 50% done moving soil. I started building up the dam and at the point that I need to re-establish elevations. I am not sure how much more excavating I...

Astronomy is not one of my hobbies but could not resist trying to get a picture of Jupiter and four of its moons yesterday evening. This was the best I could do with my equipment. And to think they wasted billions on the James Webb space telescope! LOLOL, jk

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Thanks for your reply and link! I know I have seen what I think is late fawns this year on my cameras and in person. I will update if I see a new spotted little one roaming the place.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I was able to get down to the land and spend a few hours on the new pond dig. Looks like the wildlife are a bit impatient! I am perhaps 30% dug at this point. The next few sessions I will start to concentrate on the perimeter and dam. The photos really flatten things out but this pond should...

RPM for New L2501 For Mowing

With the L2501 HST (I assume yours is a HST due to your picture next to your screen name) there should not ever be any "shock load" engaging or dis-engaging the PTO due to having a clutch. When I engage my brush cutter I have my throttle set to about 1600 RPM, depress clutch , engage pto lever...
