    Daily Chuckle

A doctor that had been seeing an 80-year-old woman for most of her life finally retired. At her next checkup, the new doctor told her to bring a list of all the medicines that had been prescribed for her. As the doctor was looking through these his eyes grew wide as he realized Grandma had a...

    BX snow removal suggestions.

I use a BX plow with down pressure to clear packed snow before it becomes ice. Blower gets the top layer of snow, and the plow cleans down to the pavement. I put the snow all to one side, and then put the blower back on, and blow that off into the field. If I were to leave it, it will turn to...

    B2782 shear bolts

In 17 years with my Kubota blower, I only broke that bolt once, and that was when the blower found a rock in the driveway. Even though it broke, it didn't save the fan, and I had to remove it and hammer it back into shape. Back then, you couldn't get parts as quickly as today. I did order one...

    BX fuel tank strainer

My dog taught me how to hang my tongue to the side, but he never taught me how to wag my tail when hanging my tongue to the side. I will give it a try tomorrow. Once it is in, can you get it out for cleaning or do I have to use my tongue for that also?

    BX24 winter cab build

There is a removable plate under the battery compartment. You can remove that, and using some rubber roofing block the air from being pulled from the cab. I had removed my inside screen that you take off to service the battery, and slipped the rubber under the center support, and tucked it...

    BX bucket?

Is it a true " bucket leveling option" or is it a bucket leveling indicator? One keeps the bucket level as you lift, and the other is a mechanical device that indicates where the bucket is level or not, for the operator to make adjustments with the loader stick.

    BX fuel tank strainer

That is the same model that I purchased. When I try to put it into the tank, it gets stopped by a ridge and will not go down far enough to put the cap back on. I didn't measure exactly how far down the ridge is located, but my guess is about 3" below the top edge of the filler neck.

    BX fuel tank strainer

I purchased the one from Amazon that was recommended above, and it is too long to fit into the filler neck of my BX23S. Has anyone found one that is short enough to fit the filler neck of the BX23S? I would have assumed that all BX tractor tanks were the same, but apparently, that isn't the fact.

    Lug nut reminder

The last set of tires I purchased was at Costco, and they still use a torque wrench to set the nuts to the proper torque. It is more important today with alloy rims because you can damage the rim if you over-torque them. As for the torque sticks, I have seen them around for years, but I don't...

    Motor Oil

They don't have stores in New England, so that is of no value to me what they have or don't have in inventory. I have been in their stores in Michigan and liked them a lot.

    Lug nut reminder

That is why you should use a torque wrench on the lug nuts when you install the tire and rim and check them after you use the tractor for a few hours. The same goes for your car. I don't use an impact wrench for tightening fasteners, just for taking them off and putting them on securely, but...

Hydraulic Chute Hood added to a BX2616 Snowblower

These hoses are a pair that were attached to the cylinder and will need to be replaced with new hoses, and I can order the length that will work best. Might you be able to post a picture of your setup? thanks, Dusty

    Which model do I need?!

Buy the largest BX that your pocketbook can afford, and you will not be disappointed. If you have a friend with a backhoe, you don't need one. Put that money toward a Kubota deluxe cab and heater. If you don't buy it now, you will wish that you did after the first experience of snow blowing...

    Motor Oil

I was unable to find Rotella T6 in any stores the last time that I needed some. Finally found a jug in the garage, and it was enough to do my oil change.

    BX bucket?

Don't remember which company offered custom holes in the tooth bar, but I would buy one of those over buying the Kubota bar. A tooth bar is a much better investment for you bucket edge.

    B2782 shear bolts

If you have one of the original shear bolts, take it to your local lawn mower shop and see if they have any like your Kubota Shear bolts. Also, some hardware stores have shear bolt selections. I just looked at Messicks website, and they have over 100 in inventory according to the website...

For Sale: 2018 kubota B2673 Snow blade with Hydraulics

Best to keep your eye on Washington state for tractor accessories. Then try to connect with a trucking company or owner operator that travels on a regular basis to your location. I once bought a car located in AK and had it hauled down to Bellingham in a tractor-trailer that delivered food to...

    Install usb charging port

Easy enough to check them with a basic automotive electrical tester. Ground the wire on the tester, and probe with the pointed end. If the light comes on when the key is off, it is live all the time. If not, then it is ignition powered. Most likely it is the ignition switch powered and off...
