Kubota and some Korean OEM's do that, but yes it's mostly opposite of what most manufacturers do.

A lot of these mowers use BSPP fittings everywhere though, not many restrictors available in that style. but we will have some in 3/8" BSPP soon.

Poppets have better flow and less leakage, both are negligible though. Yes they are interchangeable, but some wear may be seen on the ball from the tip of the poppet after repeated usage, many years of usage.

They are done on a robot now, MIG process. We do not do this in-house however, just doesn't make since to invest in a robot. The plates are A36, laser cut. The hooks are forged from 4130 stock.
One is a cheap China cam sold on Amazon with no support, and you may have to improvise on the brackets and mountings, the other is a higher end system marketed towards AG and equipment use. The Yuwei is just OK and fine for my use, so I'm really not sure if the CabCam is worth the premium over...
