Inferior materials, lack of engineering, shoddy sweatshop workmanship, and no customer support is where the cost savings come from.
You will be top loading the hook that way, and risk the chain slipping off. Either way, totally unsafe.

No direct answer to your question, but the mounting hardware is the biggest issue in adding a used loader to an older machine-if you can even find a loader in the first place.
