    Mower deck pto shaft

If I'm driving you crazy, just say the word. Somehow, your plight makes me want to help. So, anyway, here's another possibility: https://www.ebay.com/itm/126514297155?itmmeta=01J0C1JNNDKPW6GW8DH59T0YWQ&hash=item1d74d6f943:g:ZzYAAOSwzkhmX0m4

    Mower deck pto shaft

Here's another possibility: this may be for a different model but who knows maybe the rear portion isn't too long. Worth asking the seller...

    Mower deck pto shaft

Oh, I'm disappointed. I thought I had helped someone! For the other end of that...I didn't know that would come off. It's always somethin', isn't it? Hope you can find something.

1995 G1800 with RCK54-20 Mower Deck cutting height question...

What you have said makes sense but the front link ALSO lifts the front of the mower, I believe. As you tighten the nuts on the front link, you will be able to see the front of the mower lifting up. Hope it works for you! TG

1995 G1800 with RCK54-20 Mower Deck cutting height question...

When I was trying to adjust my MMM (RCK60B-22BX), the WM said to put the mower cut height to 2". Turn the blades so that the right blade is parallel to direction of travel. Measure the distance from the end of the blade to the ground...at both ends of the blade. If it is different, adjust...

1995 G1800 with RCK54-20 Mower Deck cutting height question...

While I don't know your particular model, it may require adjustment of the parallel linkage. That will lift the front of the mower. It took me some time to figure out what the manual was saying to do, but even though I'm not blonde, sometimes things just don't make sense! After I made the...

Get nothing when turning the key

I've had a similar experience. The problem was in the starter and I'm not sure how to describe the solution. My neighbor found it after I had tried numerous things. The starter magnets were not pulling the cogged gear that contacts the flywheel back into the housing. Looking down at the...

There is one thing I despise about kubota, part pricing

Very interesting thread...and thoughts. Each Kubota owner would have valuable input even though "we" can't agree on everything. The consensus appears to be that Kubota is a solid brand with machines of varying HP and accessories. We've all learned...not just from using a Kubota...that...

Is there a rear hitch available for Kubota BX23D with a BT600 Backhoe?

There may be a couple of other options. Heavy Hitch may be a possibility. Or...maybe I don't really need one! :) This is Bxpanded description: BH Mounted Hitch Style Receiver Fits the Kubota BX24, BX25 BX25D and BX23S with the BT601, BT602 or BT603 Back Hoe TG

Is there a rear hitch available for Kubota BX23D with a BT600 Backhoe?

I've purchased from Bxpanded and have liked their products. Their receiver does not fit a BX23D if I read things correctly. It fits BX23S. ..not sure why but I could call them for further info. Thank you. TG

Is there a rear hitch available for Kubota BX23D with a BT600 Backhoe?

Every once in a while, I'd like to pull something without the need to take the BH off the tractor. Is there some kind of rear hitch that can be attached to a 2004 Kubota BX23D so that the BH does not need to be removed? While removing the BH is not terribly hard...and I have the BXpanded BH...

    steering cylinder won't stay put

Russell and Henro, your thoughts mimic what I had thought, too. A washer would possibly keep the guide in place. And 1/16" inch wouldn't seem enough to cause problems. BUT, in viewing the cylinder as I turn the wheel, it does have a little bit of movement from side to side. I thought it...

    steering cylinder won't stay put

I am happy to report that I've had good success with this steering cylinder. Of course, for some, turning a relatively simple job into an all-day affair may not qualify as success. But, for this shade tree mechanic, it has been a good day. One of the steering cylinder guides was bent...

Good to know. ..and a relief. Perhaps you can sense that I have broken parts from things other than Kubota! TG

    steering cylinder won't stay put

Good thoughts, Henro and I did try that, too. I was a little concerned that I might break it, not knowing if it was cast iron or not. I'm good at breaking things! Keep the good thoughts coming. I need every one.

    steering cylinder won't stay put

Thank you, NIW and Henro. I did manage to get the cylinder loose from one side tie rod and the holder (guide) was bent slightly. I put the hammer to it on the anvil of the vise. Seemed to help some but the "stub" that Henro mentioned keeps me from doing much at that spot and it prevents...

    steering cylinder won't stay put

Those rings are inside of the cylinder guides and hold in the seals, etc., of the cylinder, are they not? And, they are in place. The whole thing cylinder comes out of the guides...depending on which way the wheel is turned...and both ends come out of the guides. It seems that the cylinder...

    steering cylinder won't stay put

My lovely tractor is a 2004 BX23D...has been doing great. This morning, however, the tractor wasn't steering correctly. When I looked, the problem is that the steering cylinder comes out of the steering cylinder guide. When I fix one side, the other side comes out. Obviously something is not...
