Does regen have to be terrible?

Your machine has a problem. My machine doesn’t do that, and I’ve never heard of such an issue.

Does regen have to be terrible?

Yes, but you have a creeper gear.

Does regen have to be terrible?

Unless it has a creeper gear, I wouldn’t think a gear tractor would be the best choice for repetitive loader operations.

Does regen have to be terrible?

Correct. And all non tactical vehicles purchased by GSA are standard and not different than sold to everyone else.

    Loader bucket or snow pusher

I turn my rear blade around 180 degrees and then float it on the road bed and drive forward. It will skim over the road and move snow, but won’t move your gravel.

Does regen have to be terrible?

There is no problem with my 60hp tractor and regeneration. It regenerates every 50-60 hours and is over in 15 minutes. And with the HST there is no effect on operation.

Does regen have to be terrible?

We do buy diesels for fire engines and we need them to transport equipment.

Does regen have to be terrible?

Maybe cop cars, but the discussion was general government vehicles. And in the U.S., governments order from standard fleet sales and get the same vehicle options as business buyers.

Does regen have to be terrible?

I see you’re from Canada. That might be true there. It’s not true in the U.S. We order vehicles through standard fleet sales just like every business does.

Does regen have to be terrible?

IDK what you’re referring to. I work for the U.S. Forest Service and our newer heavy trucks all have the standard emissions equipment.

Where are you mounting your switches?

On my MX6000, my LED light kit had a wiring harness with a switch. I zip tied the wire harness up one side of the ROPS and it turned out that the switch was half way up the ROPS. I just have to turn around and turn on the rocker switch.

    Fire extinguisher.

MX6000. Yes it is an old craftsman tool box. I just removed the useless plastic tool box, and I put a plate of steel inside the toolbox to back the thin box metal then drilled the holes. It’s basically fastened with a u bolt on the ROPS crossbar. And I had room behind the SMV sign to also mount...

    Snow chains…do I need them?

Hmmm. I’ve been using my loader and back blade for years to plow my 2000’ gravel road, with up to 2’+ of snow. I hold the loader bucket at 3” above the road and float the back blade turn around 180 degrees to avoid cutting into and moving gravel. I’m at 6,900’ elevation and we can get a fair...

Which one to buy and why: MX5400HST or L4060HST-LE?

Yes the MX6000 is only available in 4wd, but not full time 4WD. There are no full time 4WD compact or utility tractors made.

I use Mr Funnel to fuel and have never encountered this issue.

    Which do you use more?

FEL bucket hands down. There aren’t many uses for a carry all that can’t be accomplished with the loader. Forks would be the next most used.

    Where to purchase implements?

Typically each dealer will carry a couple of implement brands and have the ability to order others. Used is great, when you can find something that meets your specifications, but often a frustrating endeavor. When I bought my last rear blade new from a dealer, I had been looking at used ones for...

Will an L3902HST do what I need?

A 6’ blade is a bit small for that tractor and won’t cover the wheel tracks when angled. Go for a 7’.
