    Let'm die!

I'm replying late again because I'm not checking the boards everyday but wanted to respond to this, because this is a little deceiving. I do not disagree that getting vaccinated offers better protection against covid than not being vaccinated, so we agree on that. However, the use of these...

    Let'm die!

To clarify, my statement was not meant to account for those who take the vaccine in addition to having also been infected. I was merely making the point that natural immunity is the best single defense; that having recovered from covid is perhaps superior to any vaccine you can take. Whether to...

    Let'm die!

Well, because when your goal is to inoculate the public against a virus, testing everyone's antibody count first just doesn't make sense. It also would put an unnecessary burden on the medical profession if you had to test millions for anti body counts before giving a vaccine. Anti body counts...

    Let'm die!

Has anyone seen the new study out of Israel? It has not undergone peer review just yet, but it was a massive study involving 70,000+ participants. The study was centered around natural immunity versus the Pfizer vaccine. The results of the study showed that natural immunity from getting and...

    Let'm die!

I have been randomly dropping in and reading some here but have resisted replying much. My Wife as some know here is a Director of Nursing at a nursing facility here in Florida. She has been dealing with covid daily since it started, often working 10 hours a day. Being DoN she also doesnt hardly...

CNC rubber mats for my L2501 HST

Hawk, I would be interested in getting the details on a set of these for L2501. Price, how you accept payment, etc. They look great.

Is this fine for an L2501 Oil Change?

I am in Florida, so 15w-40 for me. The coldest I would probably ever be using this tractor is MAYBE rarely in the 40's or so. 90% of my usage however will be 50-90 degrees outside temperature, and mostly in the upper end of that range. Oh and just to add - I am running the same Tractor as OP...

    4wd

Bump the HST pedal, or Jostle the steering wheel a little side to side as mentioned, both of those will help it engage if its in a position where its a little stuck. It is a good idea however to not be moving when you're switching in and out of 4wd. I've never had much trouble engaging or...

Is this fine for an L2501 Oil Change?

Yes that is a fine oil. The only thing better in my opinion may be what I used. Rotella T6 Fully Synthetic. Its a little more expensive though. Both will work fine though.

    Hurricane Ida

We dodged this one here in Florida thankfully. Hope all of you in LA are doing well. It was a beast of a storm coming in. It made landfall as a stronger hurricane than Katrina. It was up there near the strength of Michael that Hit us in Florida over here in October 2018. Michael done...

Switching grease and pondering compatibility issues

Yes, I have watched a lot of these videos. Also the video tractor time with tim did with the guy from lube shuttle in germany. He recommended his lithium based grease if you were going to pick one grease to use for tractor type applications.

New to the site, first post

Hmmm. My L2501 FEL, even at max RPM I can slow its movement by going easy on the loader stick. Ive actually always felt the L2501 had great FEL control. For example being able to curl bucket and raise or lower the fel at the same time is super simple, and controlling speed I find simple as well...

Switching grease and pondering compatibility issues

Well to be honest, I feel I could use the schaefers 238 in everything I own and probably be fine. I am aware it is likely not ideal for every case, but with the low hours I put on equipment, it likely wouldn't actually cause much harm in the long run. Ive seen people run PTO shafts with no...

Switching grease and pondering compatibility issues

Appreciate the replies. Ive seen all the above charts on compatability and the messicks video I saw a long time ago. Grease is just another one of those things where you get 500 opinions when you start asking, so it often doesnt help to ask. Im going to just follow my own research and come up...

Switching grease and pondering compatibility issues

Appreciate your suggestions. I personally would prefer a single grease option, simply because Im not someone who is out using his equipment all the time, as I have said. Running 2 seperate greases for example means Id prolly have tubes sit in the gun for 2 years before I used them all. Again...

Can a L2501 Lift a 1200lb large bale 6 inches off of the ground.

Yep, you should always employ basic common sense. I don't think anyone here would argue against that. I would for example always suggest to the OP in this case that when moving these bales he should keep them low to the ground while moving them from one place to another, because that's good...

Can a L2501 Lift a 1200lb large bale 6 inches off of the ground.

Not going to argue, as is often common on these forums - getting into pissing matches over basic daily tasks like this. Some people are overly cautious and think of every reason why something shouldnt be done. Others, like myself, are simple realists. I will simply restate my point to the OP...

Can a L2501 Lift a 1200lb large bale 6 inches off of the ground.

You of course are entitled to your opinion. My opinion is that you are making moving a round bale far more dramatic than it needs to be. This has been a sticking point with me on these forums since I joined. Someone posts a thread asking a specific question, and everyone responds with stuff...

Switching grease and pondering compatibility issues

I have never said anywhere that I only grease once a year, so not sure why you mention that here. I grease more regularly than owners manual calls for actually. The issue is I simply have a single tractor, and only do about 50-100 hours per year on it. I live on 13 acres, not a farm where I am...

The more I hate, the more I hate computers

Thankfully I fix most tech problems myself. One of my hats at my office of employment is I am the office IT person. I started building computers and fixing them at 13 years old. I'm 38 now. Thankfully because of this I have never struggled with tech or how things work, and have always been able...
