Kubota Dealer Messed Up, Should I Pay

I expect that your dealer has changed his ways. I expect that they are no longer providing written quotes. SDT

    Landpride FRD 1672 Throwing Belts

Which one from the B series...

Bingo. Design changes have been made, both hardware and firmware. Current model B3350s appear to have no DPF issues and earlier models are being upgraded as needed. As with any DPF engine, it is important to operate the engine at elevated RPM. Such should not be an issue when mowing as it is...

    Brush Hog B2650

Agreed. I have 5', 6', 7', and recently sold a 10.5' rotary cutter. All were adjusted to cut with the skid rails about 1" above a concrete floor. All would cut at less than 3". SDT

    B3350 that could

My new one is being delivered today (finally). FEL/third function, ballast box, hydraulic angle QA snow blade with rubber cutting edge, extendable lift arms, and ratcheting lift arm leveling option. I already have a front weight bracket and 5 front weights. No liquid ballast as I...

    Brush Hog B2650

Clipping horse pasture is not far from "ideal" conditions unless the ground is VERY steep. Little HP is required to cut weeds. Mowing heavy grass requires MUCH more HP. SDT

    Brush Hog B2650

It depends upon what you plan to cut and how fast you plan to cut it. I've been mowing with various tractor/mower combinations in various conditions for nearly 50 years and I would not buy anything larger than 48" for use with 19.5 PTO HP unless I planned to use it only in absolutely ideal...

    Finish mower suggestion please

Why not a rough cut ("bush hog") type mower. If insistent upon a finish mower, Woods, Bush Hog and Land Pride make good mowers and have been around for years. SDT

B2650 width - outside tire track to tire track

Thanks for the info, John. I remove the MMM from my B1750 each fall and install the chains. I can install the chains in less than an hour but I'm 68 and it gets more difficult each year. Chains for the B3350 will be heavier and more difficult to install. When one gets to be my age, one does not...

B2650 width - outside tire track to tire track

Have you tried tire chains without spacers? There is a bit over 1" fender clearance so some chains should clear if properly installed and tightened. I, too am considering tire chains for snow plow duty with my B3350 but hope that chains will not be needed. I've been plowing a long, steep...

B2650 width - outside tire track to tire track

The overall width of my B3350 with standard size R-4 tires and without spacers is approximately 55"+. Your 2650 will be the same. Just about 2 hours ago I measured the gage wheel clearance between the R-4 tires on another B3350 and the gage wheels on a 72" deck. There is at most 1" clearance...

    B2650 60” mmm questions?

I agree about the terrain following decks. I have a B1750HST with 60" terrain following MMM. This has been the best mowing deck that I have ever owned or operated. I just bought a new B3350 without deck but one of the reasons that I bought it was that I can still get a terrain following deck...

    OCD and washing your tractor

I have 5 Kubotas, the oldest a 1993/4 (can't remember) the newest to be delivered in about another week. None have ever been washed. I wipe the sheet metal of each with a wet cloth and dry with a dry towel once each year before waxing. Without leaks or rain, very little dirt will stick. After...

B2650 width - outside tire track to tire track

If you attend a Kubota "Field Day" at a dealer, you will receive a coupon code good for an additional $300 on a B series tractor. The coupon will be valid only at the dealer where you attended the field day, but your dealer's Kubota rep can see to it that you get one with a bit of convincing. SDT

"L" or 90 deg angle 3rd Function Connectors?

I installed 90 degree elbows to the vulnerable third function hoses mounted beneath my L6060. Though they remain vulnerable, they are now less so. SDT

    B2650 60” mmm questions?

Wheel spacers are incompatible with the 72" deck, as the rear gage wheels will hit the tires. Just wondering how your 72" deck does with your "lumpy" yard? Any significant scalping issues? SDT

    Pro's and con's of front snow blade's

I ordered the 72" hydraulically angled quick attach snow/loose materials blade with my B3350. Yes, you will need a third function valve. The FEL mounted blade is available with manual angle. Not sure if the under frame mounted blade is. I suppose you could operate the under frame mounted blade...

10 acres 3' tall Needs Bush hogging

Why add hours to your new tractor? Use the old, larger tractor to mow the parcel the first time before selling it. FWIW: Tall weeds mow easily but it may be more difficult to see obstacles. Thick grass pulls much harder. SDT
