    2002 BX1800 60" MMM Hyd. lift arms

The right starts going up a 1/2 a second or so before the left one does. Are they on a single shaft an one is slipping or out of time with the other, or are they seperate cylinders/hyd pistons to pull then up? Whats the cure, or is it something that just happens on this model machine? Thanx.

B2620. How do I live without position control?

Look at yer manual. My bx1800 has a knob below an in the front of the seat sheet metal that lets you adjust the speed of the drop down from fast to slow to (lock on mine I think)

A word of caution about 3-point hitch implements

Big HP#'s attract guys. Thats why you see 25-30 hp engines on lawn tractors, when the old ones when I was a child would cut just fine at the same speed, size, an weight with a 10 hp engine on'em. Its mostly our own baby boomer fault, ( we know who we are) an we have pretty much raised our kids...

    Clutch in or out?

A lot of it has to do with the material they use to make the clutch disc itself also.

    HP Questions

They didn't bother to mention that 10% of that HP will get eat up in the engine itself from ring an brg friction + other little things moving an turning in there also...

what diesel additives do you use?

A tablespoon or two of marvel mystery oil every tank full never hurt anyone or thing. I even put a little in my Goldwing every other tank or so. Helps keep the guides lubed an the rings free from carboning up. Can't be to bad, I'm 61 an it was around a long time before me...

    Clutch in or out?

Park it where it can't get wet or humid. No Dampness if Possible, thats your problem. Out, you have a chance of it rusting to the plate or flywheel----In, you have a good chance of weakening the clutch springs over that length of time an the clutch will slip when ya need it. Pick yer Poison......

B2620. How do I live without position control?

New Here. Hi! On my 2002 bx1800, the manual shows where to set a slide on the lowering/raising rod right behind the right rear wheel. Takes about 5 minutes or less once you see it an figure out where you want it to stop. I'll hafta set it once I put my brush hog on so it will drop to the same...
