    In the doghouse, blown motor.

Two weeks ago I lost my temper and melted the tires until the motor went on the '03 F150 I bought new years ago. After two weeks of my wife giving me the business on how stupid I was she dealt out the punishment. I was told that instead of buying a new motor to go get a new truck...Then...

Ok thanks, better to ask, then to find out the hard, expensive, or embarrassing way if it is needed.:eek:

    PTO Overrunning coupler

This may sound silly to some, but does an automatic BX need a PTO overrunning coupler like my old clutched 9N did?

how do I put my tractor in float?

My problem is, now that I found the "Float" position, I seem to hit it constantly even when I just want to lift/lower/tilt/curl the bucket. Can't keep out of float now. Never had a problem until I found it.

    Dig a footer.

It is soft soil, appr. 80' stright'ish line, to build a block wall in case the crick rises.

    Dig a footer.

That reminds me. Years ago my Uncle put in his leach bed with a rototiller and shovel. So not too much different then a footer.

    Dig a footer.

On my BX2670, I only have a FEL, snow blade and my trusty shovel. Aside from purchasing a middle buster to loosen the dirt then hand digging, any thoughts on how to use the Kubota to dig a footer?

Is it to much to ask for...?

Yes, it is too much to ask for. Mine didn't work right off the lot. They tried to fix it, still don't work. I just look to see the fuel level to know when to fill up. We put a man on the moon, but can't let you know when your fuel is low. lol.

    Middle buster combo

Thanks. I tried Saturday before the ugly Pitt/Cicny game. TSC and Rural King were both out of middle busters. Both had sub soilers, $10.00 higher at RK. I wonder if the long sub soiler would work on a BX if you put a short top link on to lift higher?

    Middle buster combo

So, maybe buy a sub soiler to get more depth, (providing it's not too long for a BX), and buy a middle buster blade to mount on it? Then purchase the pipe layer from the link in Diydave's post? TSC and Rural King are beside each other here. I will look at both places. Thanks for the input. jay

    Middle buster combo

I have a BX2670. Anyone know where to find a middle buster, sub soiler, and pipe layer all in one? I'm having no luck searching the internet.
