Thank you sir! Messick, Coleman, and Kubota seem to have disassociated the BF500/550 from the L2850DT’s parts lookup page. it looks like seven parts, and the kit from parts is seven and they look to be the right ones.

That’d be awesome and appreciated. I wish the online parts diagram for my FEL showed what parts were included for the factory seal kit, eparts shows seven pieces for mine. it’d be reassuring to know it’a the same as the factory.

Has anyone used the seals from eparts? They look to be a legit company. The BF550 loader on my L2850DT has been leaking more and more (leaks never get better) with usage and I can’t find any other seal kits. Or does anyone know a source I’m not finding? I’ve gotta do lift and curl, at least...

Thank you, that’s what I was looking for. Seems if it’s only function is the shutoff solenoid, and I haven’t got one it’s one less thing on the list.

Looks to me that as long as the delivery valve 70 doesn’t turn in relation to the sleeve control 150, but I could be mistaken. Another question to those more experienced, am I also gonna have to swap out delivery valve gasket 50?

Does anyone know the thread/pitch of the Kubota sending unit? Tractor starts and runs, but all the wiring is roached for lights, etc so I’m thinking a solid working plan B would be a mechanical unit guage until I get to the wiring.

Update-it’s a pinhole in the return hose of thermostat-yay!! Question stands on wiring an aftermarket temp gauge to the factory sending unit, or ideas if anyone knows a gauge/sending unit combo through fits the Kubota 4 banger in the old L series.
