So I’ve been fixing stuff as I go on the ‘87 L2850DT I got last month.
Now I’m leaking coolant from the water pump (area-can’t see exactly where).
Looking into parts, was curious if these have a weep hole, or is gasket the culprit at times?
I’ve got no working gauges/lights and was also curious if anyone knows if an aftermarket temp gauge can be ran off factory sending unit (and if so how do I know which one to get)?

Update-it’s a pinhole in the return hose of thermostat-yay!!
Question stands on wiring an aftermarket temp gauge to the factory sending unit, or ideas if anyone knows a gauge/sending unit combo through fits the Kubota 4 banger in the old L series.

Check the WSM for the ohms rating of the sensor then look at new gauges that use that range.

Does anyone know the thread/pitch of the Kubota sending unit?
Tractor starts and runs, but all the wiring is roached for lights, etc so I’m thinking a solid working plan B would be a mechanical unit guage until I get to the wiring.
