Do the mower or tractor manuals mention pinning the deck up?
Yes, but the mower manual covers everything from the b2650 up to the lx2620, and it has no specific information about the 2620, there is a bracket that goes on the older tractors that doesn't fit on the newer ones

They took the effort to manufacture both the deck and tractor with tabs to be able to pin up and have been for years. Kubota should make it right IMO regardless what "the rep" said.

They'll probably do it for the lx2630 and advertise it as a new feature 🤣

Is the front linkage and rear lift linkage adjusted correctly? If not then the front or back of the deck may be lifting too high causing it to hit before the holes line up. Try playing around with that and see if you can make it work.

With the 3 point selector up, the deck touches the frame both in te front and the back and its still like a half inch off, i do wonder if the linkage is adjusted correctly though for other reasons

Do you not have the cutting height dial? I don't need to pin the deck up on my B. Just turn the dial to top position and then I can use 3 point and deck stays up.

My suggestion is to go through the installation and adjustments outlined in the manual. I bought my LX3310 with 200 hours on it and found pieces left off laying in among the belts and the setup was completely off. No wonder the first owner traded it in on a deere. After setting it up step by step by the manual it mows beautifully.

That said the tractor is fairly useless for tractor work with the mower on. I've tried doing different tasks with mine pinned up and the deck is always scooping up dirt, bottoming out, or in the way somehow. Might as well get used to removing it if it's your only tractor.

I just got my 60" deck, it works great but be aware that you cannot pin the deck up, the holes are about a half inch off and according to the service rep that is the way it is, they want you to remove the deck for 3 point work.
Had a similar issue when I installed 60" MMM on my B3350, since sold.

Dealer had sent incorrect front mounting brackets with MMM.

Sounds like you need a different "service rep."

After you've determined original setup was/is correct and don't want to take the time for the dealer to correct it: a "quick" option is to use a sharp point permanent marker to mark the misalignment hole on the metal tab. Then take a die grinder and bit to enlarge the hole to the marked openings on each side for the mower hanger tabs.

you could also have the dealer make the choice to cut which tabs off and re-weld new properly drilled and fitting tabs on either the mower deck or the tractor's mount.

Most times, things like this are quicker done by yourself even though it's apparently a screw up by Kubota. Guessing some worker grabbed the wrong tabs out of a bin and welded them on without checking fitment.

I agree. Sure, it shouldn't be wrong, but if I can fix it, I'm not waiting on the dealer to fix it. At some point, even the principle isn't worth the time to have the item out of service and wait.

No. OP's deck is not a suspended deck.
