The solution? A broken pin where all the different schematics for a BX2750 do not show a pin! Thank you everyone for helping me with this. (A warm garage may have speeded up the diagnostic process...)

Hello, I recently ran into this same problem. Do you recall what sized roll pin you ended up using ? I can’t find the part # anywhere. Thank you!

Thank you, maybe I will just weld it. Based off the serial number it’s a 2011….. which leads me to believe it’s an earlier model. Appreciate the response!
Why in the heck would you weld it?
Just put a bolt through the hole with a lock nut, like everyone else has done.

FYI: The welded gear has a different collar design.
Welding that one could very well interfere with the bearings.
