    BX25D tires are tired…

My BX 25d now has new, unloaded rear tires/rims. I have the “flat” one in the bed of my pickup for winter weight! Still working for me! 🤣 I am going put them on marketplace cheap. Maybe someone will want to do something with them?

    BX25D tires are tired…

Sorry, just realized you were talking about a riding mower tractor! YES! Chains needed on that! I was talking about my 4x4 Kubota running turfs without chains… Nope…haven’t used chains for last 2 winters. I’m have some but took a chance mostly because I used to cut trails through my property for...

    BX25D tires are tired…

I was of the opinion that turfs were better for plowing snow because of the larger contact patch. Time will tell as we are (hopefully) on the downside of winter here in central NH…so far so good good! With my steep ddriveway situation, my snow clearing process consists of a 2 tier approach...

    BX25D tires are tired…

Not an issue with mine as I leave the BH on all year long. I blew snow today and I was fine . Thanks for the advice though! Over the years my valve stems failed and I believe it was whatever liquid was loaded into the tires ..,.anyways, if I NEED to, there are many YT vids showing how to load...

    BX25D tires are tired…

Out blowing an 8” snowfall this morning when I felt the dreaded flat tire “wobble” Crap. Hobble 300’. BAck to the garage to try to air it up…no go…goes flat immediately. Okay…lower the outriggers lift the back end up and start taking off lug boys/bolts…2 won’t budge so get the torch and apply...

BX25D (and all BX?) throttle lever adjustment & maintainance

Fiddled with mine years ago…settled on a very stiff lever that stays put. I know what to expect (stiffness) so I live with it…BX25D as well😊

Engine Heaters to assist cold weather starting. Which type?

Had 2 dealer installed block heaters crap out on me in 12 years…tried pulling the last one out of the block with no success. Installed a battery heater and slapped a magnetic heater on the oil pan. So far this has enabled me to deal with the frigid temps this (and last year.) I usually keep...

    BX 25D battery group size?

Killed my battery yesterday…parked it in my garage waiting for the next phase of the big storm (got 20+ inches) over 2 days. I mistakenly left my flashers on and when I went out to the garage to plug in the pan heater and battery warmer, to see seethe 4way flashers flashing “weakly” Crap...

    Top it off

Add propane to this list…mine is sitting at 14% (500 gal) and my propane company can’t or won’t tell me when my delivery is scheduled. It’s been the coldest fall/winter that I can recall (central NH) and my 500’ driveway is snow covered ice. I need to have my sander guy come at some point before...
