I just put my FEL back on the other day after a winter sitting outside…only one connector gave me trouble but working the loader stick all around and on the 2nd try it clicked in. What was worse was in the summer when dropping the FEL to and BH to mow…those fittings were fickle when HOT!

Z422 here as well…My “lawn” is not good quality grass…when it’s high after periods of rain, a 3.5 setting is good. Another part is all steep hill and usually dry and dusty and the grass doesn’t grow as long….its a dustbowl but it gets cut at 2.5ish. Part of the flatter area is lush grass because...

Ha! Every time I’m involved with oil, there’s gonna be a puddle “somewhere” My BX is mostly, fine but the newer zero (Z422KW-54) turn with that harder to reach oil drain plastic “nut” and hole in the frame that the oil is supposed to drain through usually has me swearing…🤣

My BX5455 is the same (when lifted). I never tried to straighten it out because it levels itself out when lowered. Haven’t noticed it as being problematic at all.

When you get the new plug, that’s the correct size and pitch? Proceed to tap with correct tap.

Lemon law? 🤔 hire a lawyer and get a refund on your lemon.

I do have both battery and oil pan heaters but if I forget to put the tractor in the garage before the storm, i start it cold.

I get this on my 013 F150 in frigid weather. I have to say, my 10+ year old BX25D battery (original) has stood the test of time and cold! Tractor sits outside in the rain, snow, ice, etc and has never let me down (yet)🤣 I’m sure the day will come, however…

Years ago when I had my BX25D in for some service, they replaced mine under warranty because of moisture inside the display…they put a label on with the hours at that time. Now years later, the display is filled with moisture again but still works.🤔

Bought a Milwaukee years ago and never looked back. All my battery tools are Milwaukee except for some Harbor Freight yard tools…I use their most expensive “Atlas” line…trimmer, chainsaw, leaf blower and extended, hedge trimmer. No regrets with any of them…all use the same 80v battery.

Been there done that!
