Speaking of 5450s and 5455s mine is backed into my garage with the pan and battery heaters plugged in…good 12 hour snowstorm is upon us in central NH.

Obviously, you’d remove it when blowing slushy, wet snow, right? That’s when my clogging problems happened!

Yup! First thing I removed on my 5455HD!

And maybe a fart or two? 🤣

I have to get my butt in gear and put my snowblower on my BX and my plow on the Mule! Snow will fly at some point here in NH!

Grease and oil! Doesn’t matter which to me (or my BX) going on 15 years and she has never let me down! 🤣 Even has the original battery! Now I’ve gone and jinxed myself! 🤔

Common problem…my BX25D has been leaking for years. A while back someone suggested putting 90 at gear oil in there and it slowed down somewhat.

I seem to have a leak on the opposite side of my Z422 So far the expansion tank level for the hydros seems to hold steady with a small amount always visible. I got the Z422 especially for the suspension seat which is a game changer for this 75 yr old!

Hmmm..are the engine mount bolts easy to access? I have a Z422 w/24 hp Kawasaki. Am laid up with knee replacement recovery at the moment while my lawn turns into field but I may be given the go ahead to use my machine in about 2 more weeks…anyone have a diagram of the engine mount bolts location?

Used to plow with my BX25D with one of those Bxpanded bucket plows…every winter, during the nastiest, cold spell, that lower filter would freeze up and leave me limping b ack to my garage from somewhere on my 500’ driveway…after a few bouts of this, the relocation kit was bought and installed...

My Z422 has made a “noise” since new…it’s a “jingling” kind of noise when idling…looked high and low for something but to no avail. Mower is perfect and a joy to use otherwise…

That rubber caused my “step” (which the “floor” is called) to rot out under my feet because of standing water. Bought a replacement STEP and had it Line-X treated before putting it back on. Now the step will outlast the tractor.! 😊

lol… never even looked at mine til last year. It’s a 2013ish BX25D with over 1000 hours by now. Filler looked good but I blew it out anyway. 🤣 Original battery too!

Have to start looking for a 1/2” drive Milwaukee then…sounds like they are up to the tasks!

I have switched to all Milwaukee tools over last 5-6 years except for my air tools which are basically for one job…sharpening my mower blades. Oh and I’ve owner FORD trucks all my life and have not had an issue with any of them. I hear GM stuff has been “questionable” lately. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
