    Hydraulic cylinder replacement

Well the scratch ended up being over a 16th deep and an inch long so I went with the replacement. It will be nice not to loose half a quart of fluid every time I park this thing. Thanks!

    Hydraulic cylinder replacement

After 15 years of neglect my barn resurrected L260 has been running great and moved allot of snow this winter. Now it's time to go through the little issues first of which is a leaking hydraulic cylinder for the bucket dump. I took it off and to a shop for a rebuild but they are telling me the...

Bringing the L260P back to life!

Well I took care of a couple of fuel leaks and ran it up to temp Monday. Everything seems to work, thermostat opens and I went through all the hydraulics. I have a leaking cylinder on the bucket and a seal on the hydraulic pump (see pic) is leaking. The new rims showed up and fit like a champ so...

Bringing the L260P back to life!

Unfortunately I don't have a welder or the skills to borrow one. I talked to a couple of welding shops and they both quoted $200-$300 per rim to weld. I got 2 rims for less than that including freight so I think I'm going with to stick with that plan.

Bringing the L260P back to life!

The pit crew (my 12 and 15 year old boys) and I got some phenomenal weather last weekend so we got out the pressure washer and did some cleanup. Unfortunately this uncovered the rear rims are so corroded I can see rubber tube around the rear valve stems and of course after talking to the local...

Anyone using Pallet Forks with a Man Cage?

That is a killer idea! The old man used to raise me up in the bucket to change light bulbs, funny how he was never in the bucket with me driving

Thanks for the tip on Coleman Equipment, cheapest OEM filters I found so I got them coming. As far as oil I am sticking with the what is recommended in the manual. I picked it up in August after selling my 2014 short bed. I absolutely love this truck! We have a 38' fifth wheel toy hauler that...

Bringing the L260P back to life!

Thanks! Between trucks and guns I have allot of expensive habits. We got it towed back to the homestead just fine so hopefully we get some calm weather this weekend so I can break out the pressure washer and get it cleaned up before it's unloaded into the garage. Going through and sourcing oil...

Bringing the L260P back to life!

Well the first step is done and it is mobile. I felt dirty using a John Deere to push a Kubota around but it had to be done. At first glance I thought we would get lucky with the tires and both fronts hold air. One rear has a leaky valve stem, not a big deal the bummer is the other rear has a...

    Fish Lifes B6100 Restoration

Looks like you got one heck of a project going. Hopefully getting my L260P back to life isn't going to be nearly this extensive. Good Luck!

Bringing the L260P back to life!

Everything is there but he did take off the air cleaner a few years ago to work on getting it started so hopefully nothing crawled up there to make a home.
