    Need alittle help please

You will be happy to have a rear mount finish mower as the mmm are a pain to install and remove. I ended up with a zero turn mower.

    B7200 hydraulic steering

Just doing some searching in the web after coming across the parts and instruction manual for when I installed the oem power steering kit on my original b7200 tractor. I found the steering assembly below which is very similar to what the kit included. Also adjustable flow dividers seem to be...

    SSQA Linear Actuator

My main reason for adding the actuator is I use the grapple a lot. Sometime a branch releases a lever. This is the reason that I have not installed an actuator. Since I only have a bucket and a grapple I have to get off the tractor anyway to hook up or remove the hoses. I installed safety...

    Occasional trailer-use risks (forgetfulness)

I installed implement jacks on the rear corners of my trailer when I purchased it 20 years ago. Came in handy when I replaced all four "original tires and wheels" recently. Did that before I hauled my LX for the first time. I had a single axle trailer years ago and was at a lumber yard picking...

    B7200 hydraulic steering

As I said earlier in another post I find no difference with the power steering on my LX2610 than the OEM power steering that I installed on my previous B7200 HST. I think that during normal loader operation you seldom are steering at the same time that you are lifting up on the loader.

Engine Heaters to assist cold weather starting. Which type?

Block heater is the way to go. Many years ago on the farm we would cover the entire engine area with blankets and put a 200 watt light bulb under it for the night while in the barn. I can remember farmers building a small wood fire under the engine to get it heated up. No hydraulic hoses etc...

    Inverted Snowblower Good, Bad, Ugly

A reverse blower is fine if light snow and you can drive through it. Drifted snow is usually more dense and would likely cause difficulty. I use a front mount blower and a rear blade. I usually just use the blade for light snow over a packed base and use the blower when needed.

Help Me Pick Out A Model... 3.5 acres 400' driveway

Congratulations on your purchase as well. I am sure you will be happy with your choice of the B2601. My original B7200 was only 17hp and did everything that I wanted it to do. I had a small woods backhoe on it and I dug out a basement, a 200 foot driveway 24" deep, 500 feet of trench 5 to 6...

Trying to figure out how to trench beside road…

This is how I do it when the earth is soft. If I encounter difficulty I break it up a bit with the hoe.

    4060 snow blower cylinder

Lots of folks just install a 12 volt linear actuator motor as I did. Total cost was under $100. "Hay Bob you beat me"

    How do I approach this

No it does not require any tools to remove. It is held in by the lower pin of the upper link. I adjust the upper nuts to take vertical weight off of the PTO. If I am using my backhoe I do remove the bracket from the pump and install it on the B/H pump. If you remember I gave my BH77 its own PTO...

    How do I approach this

I run my 3 point splitter with a 11 gpm pump as shown. The cylinder on the splitter is 4". This combination gives me very adequate speed but wish they made these pumps in a two stage version to speed up the return. Mine is a vertical splitter since a lot of my logs are quite large in diameter...

    Time for a compressor.

I have a 5hp 3 cylinder in a smaller shop that I use to paint cars and machinery in as well as blowing water out of our irrigation lines in the fall. In a larger shop I have a portable 2 hp used for air tools etc. A third smaller compressor is used primarily for brad nailers. As previously...

    L3301 HST BATTERY

When I am looking for a battery I just call a local battery supply with dimensions, location of terminals and cranking amps. Maybe you can Google the group 25 specs.

    Loader Supports

When I attempted to remove the loader last year the supports started to twist sideways resulting in the loader arm getting up against the hood. I gingerly moved the tractor about four feet so that I could attach a chain fall to the loader and safely remove it. Unfortunately I have a concrete...
