    B7200 exhaust up or forward

The exhaust on my B7200 was always vertical and was never an issue under trees. If a branch was low enough to hit the pipe it was low enough to hit me so time to get the chain saw out. My rops was higher than the pipe. The pipe was oem without a flapper but on the rare occasion that the tractor...

    Attachments that use PTO

The rule that I generally use with regard to pto length when new is that there is just enough rearward movement to attach the front spline onto the tractor PTO shaft when the shaft is perfectly horizontal. If attaching a used piece of equipment to your tractor for the first time and there is...

    Power Tap

I have the same connector on my lx2610. I just used a single insulated spade connector and plugged it into the hot side of the tractor connector. Then feeds a 3-way ctr off switch that feeds a rear camera system or the added hydraulic oil cooler of my BH77. Mine has a 15-amp fuse as original.

    Water Pump Questions

I agree with the $75 fix. I replaced the pump on my original B7200 some years ago but used a genuine Kubota part. Parts seemed to be a lot more reasonably priced back then. I replaced the hydraulic pump in 2014 for under $500 and it was going for over $1300 about six years later. One reason I...

    Z725 Zerk fittings

If you cannot grease the spindles, chances are that you have a bearing on its way out. My first one started acting up around the same hours. Noise can also be caused by an unbalanced or bent blade. Does it sound like a low rumbling vibration sound?

    Just a paint question

Saw a Mazda suv recently in machinery gray. Touched up my “White” snowblower a while ago using gray primer and clear coat. The closest match I could find.

    L2350dt retrofitting a BL4690b backhoe

Here is the bracket that I made to hold my pumps. One on my splitter and the other on my BH. I can adjust the nuts on top so that there is minimal downward weight on the pto extension. The upper part of the bracket has a sleeve that uses the lower pin location of the 3ph bracket. The guard...

    Maybe this year?

I considered putting in a nice garden but figured that by the time I built fencing to keep out the bountiful deer population that I would be 125 years old by the time I broke even with the cost of everything.

    Maybe this year?

Have blossoms as well on some apple and wild pear trees this year. Last year nothing. Even the common walnut trees were bare. Too bad you can't eat black walnuts as we still had lots of them.

    Why are trucks so big?

Everyone’s use is different. I have had large vans as well and just have no desire to have a huge vehicle with the smaller parking lot spaces as well as difficulty parking in an average garage.

    Why are trucks so big?

I have been asked numerous times over the years why I have never owned a pickup truck considering all the construction work I have done. I have always had a larger suv along with a tandem trailer. A lot more versatile than just a pickup. Hard to haul two tons of gravel or 20 foot lvl’s in a pickup.

    Very sad day

My condolences as well. I had a coworker pass away a few years ago with als. Very sad as it destroys the body but not the mind.

    10-30 0il question

When I first got my B7200 in the 1980's I used regular automotive oil for the first couple of oil changes as it was also good for "light diesel engines". Not sure if that is the case now or even if a Kubota engine could be called "light". Have consistently used proper diesel oil since then.

Replacing hydrostatic oil in my John Deere 345.

Just wondering if anyone knows what alternative hydro oil I could use in my John Deere 345. Seems that there is not much special about it. My Ariens zero turn takes a synthetic engine oil in the hydro. All the Deere dealers are a bit of a drive but if there is any doubt in the oil, I will...
