Hi All - placing an order for a new Kubota KX-040 mini excavator. I have it all spec'd out but have one question and am hung up on it. (yes I am getting the hydraulic thumb) You can choose 1 Auxiliary Hydraulic Port, which has a diverter valve or you can do 2 Auxiliary Hydraulic Ports. With 1...

    RCF2072 on an L4060

I am in disbelief that the answer is basically - yep thats just the way it is - or - that you have to work the 3 point up and down to get a decent mow, hell no. If thats so, why would anyone ever buy and use a 3 point mower ? Tow behinds dont do this.

    RCF2072 on an L4060

So I recently got an L4060 with several Land Pride implements. One being a brush hog - RCF2072. I got the optional floating top link and have leveled it and etc as instructed. When I mow with it - it mows horrible !! It is uneven ground with higher and lower spots. When I go into a low spot...

    Buyers Beware

My guess is you in fact didn't do enough research and ended up buying the wrong machine for the wrong task for the wrong price and now are having regrets. I'll bet it has little to nothing to do with anything related to Kubota quality. I am as OCD as they come and researched the hell out of...

    New to forum

What is the full MSRP of your total items (tractor with options and implements with their options) ? Take 17%-18% off of that, and thats a good deal - based on my experience.

    Kubota L2501 price check

Hydro - I have negotiated very good deals when I purchase...taking into account not only the tractor (with options) but the implements...add up the MSRP on everything and take around 17%-18% off of that MSRP -- that will give you a good price to pay.

I wouldn't even consider buying a 2wd Tractor...not sure of the $ difference, but if I had to save up longer or finance longer to get the 4wd, I would..

    Grapple Advice

I was considering it for an L4060 -- Travis steering me to the new 60" wicked root rake grapple: https://www.everythingattachments.com/60-Inch-Wicked-Root-Rake-Grapple-p/eta-60-wrrg.htm But again -- just REALLY unsure of those super short bottom tines...
