    New Member & New Acquisition

Welcome to the forum. As a Yank, who served with the Royal Marines, I always envied the beauty of Dartmoor and the settlements there. You are close to heaven. Recommend you get a parts catalogue or diagram that you can trace the rod from pedal to brake. As others have pointed out, most...

Turn key and doesn’t turn over but on/off a few times and then starts.

Simliar problem on my tractor. Turned out to be ground cable connection to frame. Good luck.

    Alternator substitute

Had an alternator on my M6800 go bad a couple years ago. Had my local alternator repair shop check it out, he could not rebuild it. He got a new one--cost about the same as Kubota provided parts. Good luck.

M6800 starts and shuts off repeatedly

I saw an earlier posting about the oil pressure switch causing the shut off and noted that my tractor's shut off seemed to follow if the oil light did not immediately turn off. But it never shut off if the light turned off immediately. We are only talking a second or two for the light to show...

Golstho, did you ever find the solution to your problem? My 6800 has shown similar symptoms on initial start, and I'd like to find out what your fix was. Thanks.

    Loss of Hydraulic Fluid

I can't say it is your problem, but I once had an older BX that blew a plug (similar to a freeze plug) on the tranny. I found it and was able to pop it back in with some sealant added. Good luck

Interested in purchasing a Kubota RTV-X 1140 UTV

I have an RTV 900 that I bought new in 2006 and is still going strong. My daughter and SIL have a newer model RTV 900 with a snow plow and they love it. They put the heaver front springs on for the plow. Talk to a dealer about a plow and installing the heaver springs. If the RTV you are...

Need some help buying an M59 tlb

Most of us who purchased our first TLB faced the same problem. Practice-practice-practice will solve your operator issues. After digging thousands of feet for field drainage, I've got the hang of it. My caution would be the condition of the machine. Check the pins in the BH and the loader...

FEL post hole digger for L3901

I ran a hydraulic post hole digger on an L35 FEL for years. It worked especially good around rocks and roots and along fencelines in the woods.

    brush cutting old timber land

As I have bent or broken a couple tail wheels on my bushhog by backing into something over the years, I'm always cautious of backing into areas where I don't know what is there. Similarly, running over a stump or unseen T post is equally concerning. In those cases I usually lower the bucket...

BX1500 Transmission Issue - Power to Only One Wheel

Ditto on the "check your tires" comment. Once had a BX 1500 where one of the tires spun on the rim. Good luck.
