When I bought my 3200 fel hst it came un ballasted. The dealer said I needed to buy either a ballast box for 400ish or fill the rear r4's filled for 4-500ish. I politely declined and both. I bought 4 bottles of washer fluid concentrate for $12 that make 15gal at -15 a piece and took 2hrs and filled them myself. Then I bought a old 2" hitch off Craig's list for $50 and welded some square steel tube for the center point. I also welded on some 1/8" plate further up and then 1/4" plate running down from that to the bottom of the hitch and welded on the lower links and viola a awesome 2" hitch with room for suitcase weights. I ordered 10 41 pounders and man what a difference that made. Each tire gained 270lbs a piece, the hitch with weights tips the scale at 450lbs for a total of 990lbs of ballast. Now when I use the loader the tractor runs out of hydraulic power before it can even think of daylighting the back end. Hope this is useful to those of you out there like me who use the 3pt for more towing work than attachment work who don't want to be taking things on and off all the time.

from what I can see it looks good.:)
Throw a little light on your subject it makes a huge difference in the picture.
Theres also a setting on your cam or phone to brighten it up ( even tho it throws off the colors)

very nice - good use of your resources too. When I bought my BX-25D, the owner said that he was going to fill the rears for free....that was icing on the already great cake! Even though his "filling" piece broke...delayed me getting it a day.... I had to take the rears off to place the spacers on, a good bit of weight in them there little tires!

Yea, I apologize for the lighting. Its was late and a cozy bed was calling when I took these. I'll post some pics of it with the weights on and off when I get home this afternoon. I also got a 7.5' fisher snow plow on a skid loader attachment plate with power angle for only 500 on Craig's list, even tho I know its never going to snow again for the rest of my natural life since I got all this I'm beyond super stoked to want to use it.

Well here are pictures with better light.the most expensive part of the weight bracket was buying the suitcase weights. I found a guy on eBay that sells 41lb generic weights for 60ish a piece. It sucked but was worth it in the long run since my entire property is on a hill. Makes it so much more stable an being able to raise and lower it makes it nice because you are able to alter the center of gravity a smig I assume. Also if any one is thinking of a third function valve the WR Long kit is very simple and nice. I bought a OEM Kubota one and it is actually WR Long. About 45minutes and you're ready to play. My next project t is getting some rubber bumpers mounted to a blank skid loader plate I got to make a push plate for moving broken down vehicles and stuff into my garage.

Push bar.... never thought of that one.
I wonder if you need to move something with a lot of tounge weight if that drawbar weight will cause any issues
There was a 6 1/2 manual angle on eastern shore CL yesterday for 300
How heavy is that plow.
My ex in laws are all from down by the Rocks

So far the biggest trailer I moved has been my dads 31' travel trailer that has around 500lbs of tounge weight and no issues. If I ever do need to move something real heavy I can always just remove the weights. I'm not sure how much the plow weighs. She's not light but it doesn't have any issues lifting it or moving around in 2wd. If I were to guess I'd say its around 500lbs maybe a bit more. The push bar idea came from when I had to get a truck in my garage before I got the tractor and had no way of getting the truck in other than towing it but had no way of getting the tow tractor out once I got the truck in. So that's when I figured there had to be another way.

I have used the fel to push but if your protection slips off you can do some damage and or cause a pregnancy.:)
