Hydraulics for B2789 Snowblower

Hi all,
I was wondering if I could get some help here. I have a B2601 Tractor and a B2789 snowblower for next snow season. I have hydraulics installed in the tractor for the rear mount snowblower but need a kit for the snowblower. Was wondering of anyone has done this or has suggestions on a kit? If there were things to be aware of or potential pitfalls?

What hydraulics fo you have on the tractor - rear remotes?
What do you want on the snow blower - hydraulic chute rotation?

Yes to both your questions. Rear remotes and simply want hydraulic rotation.

I dont know the specifics of that implement but this general idea has been discussed in the past. Basically you mount a small bi-directional hydraulic motor to the chute rotation worm and control it with one of your rear remotes. Heres a picture of the OEM parts. Remove yoke (3) and replace with a short shaft and motor. I would think less than $300 in parts/material and a couple hours work.

Any clue where I could source the motor, mount and hoses? I was hoping for a kit. Been looking in Canada finding it hard to source. I could go to my dealership but thought I'd check other ideas and experiences first.

If the dealer has a kit why reinvent the wheel?

Hydraulic motors and hoses are readily available online. All you need for this is a small low speed motor and a couple off the shelf 1/4" hydraulic hoses. You should be able to bolt the motor directly to the frame with a simple flat bar (torque arm).

My SB1051 rear blower came with a long hand crank to adjust my Shute from my seat. Yours didn’t? Or your tired of hand cranking?

Understand. If I remember correctly, someone posted an electrical set up to turn the Shute. I’ll see if I can find it.

A 12v gear motor eould work as well.
