No I think you need more hp for 84". Like 50 plus.

You might could do it but it will likely not get the full potential out of your implement.

Soil pulverizers are made to break up dirt like excavated material from a ditch and to smooth the final grade for seeding. Does the pulverizer have one or two rollers? If this is the type of work you are using the pulverizer for your tractor would handle it but a 6 footer would be more appropriate.

I plan to make a pulverizer. I have most of the stuff laying around. I will probably make it the same size as the wheel base then. Thank you

I have a 6 foot Gill out back with double rollers. If you need some dimensions let me know.

I don't remember the size of the beam I have but it's beefy. The pipe is 4" schedule 40. I was going to drill all of the holes for spike clamps but I saw a Catawba Attachments pulverizer with a piece welded on and the spike bolted to it. That seems a little easier to change them. My buddy has access to some AR400 for the spikes. I need to round up some springs still and haven't decided on the roller spikes yet. Any suggestions for those?

ETA:
I guess I need an opinion on my beam. It's massive. I want to make sure it isn't too much. I would hate to build it and my tractor struggle. It's 1/2" thick, 12" wide, 13" or 14" tall and around 9' long so i can cut to whatever length. It was free is why I took it.

For the spikes on the beam, RR spikes work well, clamped with a heavy "U" bolt. You won't bend them, just have to clamp them good and tight.

It looks like your I Beam weighs 63# per linear foot. Here is what Bush Hog Pulverizers weigh.

Are you using it for field prep?
Depending on your use, a rolling basket would be lighter.

I'm going to redo my entire yard. The people before us had a lot of trees removed and stumps ground down but not gone. I have been burning and digging them out. I bought a Ferris mower for the suspension but it still beats me up. The dirt around the house I assume is from the crawl space. A lot of clay and weeds seem to grow better than grass.
