I miss my JEEP, was not 78, but still. top off, doors off.
I've had my '98 TJ (4.0L 5-speed) for more than 25 years! When I bought it, the first thing I did was install a Ramsey winch that I bought from a friend of a friend for $150 (still on the Jeep), then removed the OEM 3.07 gears and installed 4.56 gears. I had to make some special tools to do the job but 25 years later still working great. Oh yeah, I removed the rear seat and carpet, scuffed up the floor and rolled on Herculiner. That was just the beginning.

A stock Jeep .... whatever dude! 😂😂😂

If by WO4 you mean Chief Warrant Officer 4 congratulations! As high as you can go without being an Officer and that's no small task to achieve.

My cousin was a WO4, was training helicopter pilots for the Air Force down south before he retired. Used to tell me about cursing 25 feet off the roads in Nam. Scared the hell out of the locals.

Actually, they threw in a new rank a few years back. Now WO5 is the top. Happened during the Gulf War, I think.

Listen, when our military is in another country they are effectively representing every American. Coarse language/epithets hurled at the host citizenry at any altitude should be repudiated in the strongest of terms.

Congratulations on the promotion to your SiL! As others have said, it's a big milestone.

When I was active, a WO4 didn't take any shit from anything less than an O6 (Full Bird Colonel or Navy Captain)

Indeed. And in the most strenuous of terms.

;)
I remember being told during a job interview by the CEO of a Fortune 500: “Remember, there are Two Kinds of Liars in the World….. The guys who say they’ve Never Done that….. and The Guys who say they’ve Quit!”

🤣
