Not in the area but will offer that tractor is gear drive (not HST), finish mower is three point mounted (not MMM) plow is old Ford without coulters, rotary cutter and rear blade probably IMT. Nothing appears to have been cared for properly.
Thanks for the input.
I'm fine with gear drive rather than HST, if I don't know the HST has been properly cared for.
I did somehow miss that the finish mower is not MMM, but I guess it would work for what I need.
Other than the blade, the rest of the stuff will go up for sale or get scrapped.
I guess I saw an L with 600 hours, a mower, and a loader in my price range and thought it was a decent option. Haven't seen many out there.

If I were on my way to place up by lake in would offer, but I can’t get up there until weather changes.

that being said have you reached out Greene and Sunday Mt Sterling (my guess is they are SW of you about 1 hr or less…they usually have a pretty decent inventory …right at I71 and OH56). (I’ve bought 3 from them and they have always treated me right and had best price around). Personally I would give them a call and tell them what looking for. If you need a contact send me a PM and I will share who I deal with there and their contact number.).

Thanks for the offer, understood about the weather for sure. We got another 4" of snow yesterday morning and there was a 20 car pileup on 75, I was out and it was sketchy for sure. It's been quite a winter, they said we usually have 9.5" of snow by now and we actually have 34.5", probably the same up your way.

Yes, I found Green and Sons on a web search of tractor sources in Ohio and that's where I found the B7500DT I linked in post 33 of this thread:

It’s not my money or anything, but if it were, and I already had lawn mowers that ran, and there was no other need for a MMM, id keep the mowers for have and I’d get the L and use a brush hog when needed but mow lawn with the JD.

I use a B and it’s great, but as I have aged I wish it had 3pt mower for ease of in/off and service…I got the B for the MMM. As times I have changed I wish it was heavier and more stable. A 3pt mower is so easy to take on and off and service. I did not understand that until I had an MX with a 3pt mower . A B runs out of traction before it does power.

if you plan on changing bucket/forks/grapple, then you want something with ssqa. I think you will find extra uses for the tractor after you get it.

if you like the L up north I’d call them and ask them what it would take for them to hold it until you have a chance to look at it and get ha you have right to refuse and money back if something not check out. I doubt anyone is out buying a tractor today. They will have it for another week(maybe🙄).

I can remove or replace the 60" terrain-following MMM on my B1750 without using any tools in about 20 minutes on a concrete floor. Doing the same with the 72" MMM on the B3350 that I once owned just a bit more effort because it is heavier.

I simply drive the tractor onto short pieces of 2X6 or 2X8 (two thicknesses in either front or back to provide extra clearance), remove the driveshaft and attachment pins, and roll the mower out to the right.

Tougher if no smooth surface upon which to easily roll the deck.

Thanks for the input, good to know about traction versus power on the B series, also about the MMM versus 3 point.

I really don't have need for a brush hog but a 3 point finish mower would probably do fine for the large areas of ground I have to mow now and the JD's could handle the remainder.

I will contact the place selling the L and see what they say. I don't really need anything but the blade and finish mower and don't want to deal with hauling them home so if it's truly a package deal, I don't want to spend 7 hours in the car to learn that.

I hear ya…and I agree with ya…that’s about what it takes me in the B. On the MX I can change implements on the 3pt in probably 2 minutes or less and I don’t have to crawl around on the ground.
I don’t think either way is a deal breaker. But id be more worried about weight, stability and what it will lift for the OPs needs. JMHO.

I have never been able to attach any three point implement, aside from the 11 hole drawbar, in two minutes, extendable lift arms or otherwise. Even the carryall for the 8N took at least five minutes from start to finish.

Yes, I do crawl around on the floor when removing/installing my MMMs, mostly to R & R the driveshaft.

FWIW, the single most common complaint regarding the B2650 and similar derivitives is lack of power.

There were several lengthy threads herein several years ago about this very issue.

One poster brought his new 2650 home, burdened with FEL, Rim Guard filled optional oversized tires, and a 72" three point mounted finish mower, only to find that he could not negotiate the hills in his lawn in anything but low range with the PTO turned off. He had listened to his salesman and was quite disappointed. No, there was nothing wrong with his tractor. He was simply asking too much.

On my B2601, my mower is 1 minute off, 2 minutes on. Drive over deck makes a huge difference, no pulling the mower out sideways, and I can do it on the grass or any other terrain. Yes, I get on the ground to connect the driveshaft, but that's only a few seconds. Newer MMM are easier to deal with.

One minute/two minute. That's simply not realistic.

I can hardly start any of my tractors and move a very few feet in one minute.

Yes, my MMM is a so-called "drive over" deck as well, but I find it much easier to do it my way.

Rural location? Up here it is volunteer fire departments and EMS. They look for actual structures to practice on. Few years back a house needed removing. They used it as at training house fire. Owners were left with a debris pile that fit into a dumpster or two. Just a guess. FEL with a bucket and maybe a grapple claw might be all you need to load the dumpster(s) with remanent of the burn. Older home, with no basement and with maybe less toxic materials would be appreciated v. a more recent build.
