From his description of the size of the nut, close to 1 1/2" I would have to say my best guess is the top link. The jam nut on my L2501 for the adjustable lift arm/rod is much smaller. If not mistaken 24mm.

I’m guessing the whole problem could be eliminated with a hydraulic top link and side link. 😉

the only thing kubota i have on all my implements that is standard is the lock nut on my sa20 auger bit which is 1 1/8 i woild guess its metric

Implements are notoriously not metric, as most Implements are made in the US.

I haven't tightened that nut in 50 years of tractoring...

It's called the top link snug nut in my experience.

And I don't have a top or tilt hydro...

All this for that.... snug nut.

Put a pipe wrench on the tube or round side and pop it free with little or no force on the top link From the implement.

And have him grease the threaded rod ends!! Big time.

So, what is happening is that this nut is coming loose while doing bumpy work, then my boxblade goes to an angle that is less than satisfactory for my work, and worse, the frame hits my brake light when I bring the box all the way up. Already broke the light once. Trying to keep it from happening again.

I am with you , both my tractors , depending on what implement and what conditions will rotate the top link adjuster if I do not tighten the nut. More than just finger tight is necessary at times.

I will be down at my land and have my calipers and will measure that nut. I have been meaning to pick up a dedicated wrench also. My adjustable always seems to be some other location when I need to tighten it! LOL

I did get to my tractor. Mine, on my L2501 is 30mm.

They must have changed sizes when they went to your L2502.
